Services
Guitar Encounters is a rock and pop based course. Perfectly suited to any aspiring guitarist from the age of nine years old and upwards, lessons are taught on electric and electro-acoustic instruments. Classes contain typically six to eight students so there will always be a chance to play as a group to complement solo work.
If you would like to enrol with us we simply require an enrolment fee of 20 (non refundable) to secure your place. This is deductible from the starter pack which is 35 which includes the book 1 for your chosen course, accompanying CD/CDs, YMP printed music bag, YMP pen and pencil, YMP notebook. For our group lessons we charge a set monthly fee, payable in advance using "Autopay".

An excellent place to begin learning an instrument or develop your music skills! I Absolutely love my lessons with Ed Kainyek at the Yamaha music point! Started shortly after Xmas after a taster lesson that my mum had arranged for me after not playing an instrument for over ten years. Ed, My teacher is very knowledgeable, a fantastic musician and makes me feel totally at ease when I make mistakes. Would highly recommend this music school! 👍

I decided to take guitar lessons so that I can support my granddaughter who started having lessons. Starting from scratch, having never had any music lessons in my 68 years, I was very unsure. I found Shane to be very supportive and encouraging (as well as being an excellent guitarist) and I've made progress that I never thought I'd achieve.
