The medical staff are mostly great, friendly and helpful. They do an amazing job given the state of the NHS.

The staff appeared alert and on the ball - I arrived exactly at the time of appointment and was received at the entrance. It was for winter Flu jab. From entering at the front door to coming out from the rear door (one way system was in operation), it took me 6 minutes - that includes filling in a form! Well done Oak Tree :)

I received a text from the surgery on 22 September informing me that a joint over 65 flu and covid booster programme was planned for Didcot Civic Hall and that I would receive an invite. I then received a text on 10 November informing me that the programme was a huge success, with over 42,000 jabs delivered, but unfortunately I was not one of those as I never did receive an invite! I phoned the surgery to complain and didn't even receive an apology and was just told to book the covid booster online. I then asked if the surgery was offering flu jabs but that was negative as well. In general the

Awful service. Overstretched and not at all quick to deal with matters.
Very poor standards towards my wife and myself, I do not feel that they help very much.
Call back tomorrow is a constant response. Not a good practice in all honesty.
I am looking to find another doctor.
And will travel to do so..
Avoid this one at all costs to time and health please

I have now been with this Practice for over 2 years and have consulted at least 3 different doctors for various issues. To evaluate a Practice's service, one needs to consider whether the doctor did ask enough (relevant) questions and then took appropriate action on the responses. In my personal experience, that has certainly been the case. I have had some tests done here too and the nurses were fantastic. I have also observed the receptionists, who may not be eating enough cheese and may not fancy talking about Leeds, but definitely no complaints. Just a quick comment to the Practice's Admin team

Even it is an urgent appointment there was not any chance that a doctor will call you back earlier that 6PM. In my point of view it is absolutely unacceptable to wait a whole day with two small kids when a doctor will call you back. But even you get there, it usually takes 25 minutes to actually see a doctor. Doctors are not bad, especially Dr. Ellie I would recommend him.

I have always been able to make an appointment and the nurse filtering works well most of my visits have been successfully treated by the very competent nurses without having to refer to the doctors. Efficient and friendly. NHS money being spent well.

Never get a call back until after 7pm. This is after surgery is closed and you give up waiting for a call you have been waiting for since the morning. Then ring again in the morning for the madness to start all over again! You cant jus book an appointment over the phone it has to be the dr arranging their own diary after assessing you over the phone. Rang for blood test result and get told all ok apart from one which you need to speak to dr but you cant today as too busy, Ring tomorrow to speak to a dr who will again probably call at 7pm. Im a worrier and the panic naturally set in. When asked
