Unfortunately we are unable to offer refunds. We are doing our best to ensure we get you on the road as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience. Oxfordshire Motorcycle training are the leading CBT and DAS training company in Oxfordshire. With over 25 years experience, only using the best instructors, we are the number one choice for riders.
Services
We are authorised to offer training courses on behalf of the Driving Standards Agency and have a number of very experienced instructors. We train everyone from nervous first-time students to confident riders who may have been riding off road for many years.

We have both male and female instructors available, and alongside being very experienced, our staff are extremely friendly and have lots of patience to ensure we provide the necessary support for your time spent learning to ride.We are based all over Oxfordshire; in Oxford, Witney, Kidlington, Banbury, Abingdon and Bicester.
There is a motorcycle specific theory test, where there are questions that relate directly to using a motorcycle on the road. You would need to take this in order to take your motorcycle test but not for your CBT. Usually you must have a UK licence. Full car licences from countries within the EU/EEA can be used as provisional motorcycle entitlement only if supported by a D91 issued by DVLA.
This is a one day training course designed for novices and something everyone must take to be able to ride a motorcycle on the road, or to go on to take a motorcycle test. It is conducted in a safe off road area, where we teach you a little theory, followed by basic control techniques. Find out more.
The Direct Access Scheme and Restricted access courses enable you to ride motorbikes over 125cc. There are various stages to the course, beginning with CBT and Theory tests, advancing on to the Module One and Module Two tests. Recent changes mean a more complex set of rules for under 24 year olds - please see our guide to the new test.

Just got off the phone to Quickstart and felt compelled to write this review as I had read a review on here about a guy who wrote a review about his 47 year old partner who had never driven a car or motorcycle and was told they would struggle and mentioned this to the guy on the phone when I booked he explained that customers who hold a a driving licence find the experience much easier than someone who has never driven a car or motorcycle on the road as they have a understanding of the Highway Code clutch and gears etc so I booked glad I did great service Emma was great with my CBT as I had never

My partner phone today on my behalf to enquire about the training course. The person on the phone was very rude ,when he heard I'm 47 and I never drive and a ride a motorbike few time with a help of a friend. He says I will struggle. Is this not the reason that you have to have this course to HELP the beginners WHO PAY YOUR WAGE. For a beginner that's very disappointed I won't touch this company, just because I'm not 20 years old and I will let the team down. This person told to my partner to look to a bigger competitor far away from where I live. As a potential customer I am disappointed, but

Fantastic training from Steve, who unpicked the errors I was making with MOD1 techniques, and saw me through MOD2 with ease. A brilliant and dedicated instructor, thanks!

Fantastic from start to finish. Very professional, organised & great value. Dave, Emma, Steve & Rich were all part of my journey, all were incredibly knowledgable & got me road confident very quickly. Rich in particular was brilliant in every aspect of the mod 1 & 2 training. Combined the discipline that's essential along with an ultra calm confidence building approach that was invaluable. Defo recommend these guys to get you on the road.

Quickstart again has been fantastic! I did my CBT here back in 2017 and again today as I’m due to do my Mod 1 and 2 in the upcoming week. Stuart was fantastic! Super patient, comedic and a great asset to the Quickstart team. The bikes were great fun and a good range of different models. In addition, I even got to have a go on the SV650 to get a feel for it. Looking forward to my DAS. Thank you again to all the team, you’re all fab!
NEW ADDED EDIT (05.08.21):
I cannot thank the staff at Quickstart enough: Stuart, Steve, Dave, you’re all fantastic! The training takes a lot of preparation

I used these guys for both my CBT and then for my MOD 1 and MOD 2. Having never riden a bike before, they taught me everything I needed to know and got me through every exam first time of asking. Both Dave and Steve are very knowledgeable and patient and give you the confidence to feel safe on the roads. I would certainly recommend them to anyone looking to get on a bike.

Did my mod 1 and 2 with the owner Dave. The training was perfect, done really well. Always at the pace you needed it to be - made me instantly feel comfortable on a big bike. Would recommend to anyone looking to take the next step, or do a CBT for that matter.

I completed my CBT in April having never sat on a motorcycle previously. The instructor Stuart made this a very encouraging and enjoyable process. He was able to relate the info with clarity and enabled people to feel confident throughout the learning process. A great experience and one that was confident boosting.

Great place for DAS courses. My instructor, the younger Dave, was very good. I had a bad experience with another training school when I did my CBT, and was anxious about the training. Dave eased me through the first part of the training on day 1 with a calm, yet firm manner. The MOD 1 day came and we had a training ride before getting on and doing the test, which was a pass. We then went on to do the MOD 2, and again a ride out before hand with plenty of tips from Dave. Dave's training was impeccable. A calming, firm manner made me feel confident I was with a professional. A real credit to Quickstart

Ok I don't normally give 5 stars but when I do, it's well deserved. Well 5 stars for the instructor Stuart.
Stuart was the best CBT instructor for people new to the sport. The day was so relaxed but serious that no mistake was criticized but met with years of experience and understanding. Stuart put all our minds at ease and gave us loads of off the book tips on how stuff actually works when you get onto the street in real life, including tips on motorcycle mechanics and why some motorbikes behave they do.
On the 2 hour road ride I stalled in a junction, too fast on the clutch and Stuart was
