Sometimes it's not just what you do, it's how you do it and at Cooper Hirst we know that outstanding sales and letting services should always come hand in hand with excellent customer service. Covering both the City of Chelmsford and surrounding areas, our experienced and knowledgeable team of property consultants provide a service you can depend on.

Vendors and buyers enjoy a unique level of service and the majority of properties listed are matched with our registered buyers before they even reach the open market.

Services
Here at Cooper Hirst, it's not just about bricks and mortar. It's about YOU and helping real people move home; plus with over six decades of success behind us, you can be confident that we know what we're doing. So what is it about Cooper Hirst Estate Agents that keeps generation after generation coming back to us?
At Cooper Hirst, we don't want to see our letting boards all over Chelmsford. Our goal is to make sure your property is continuously let and thereby producing the yield it deserves, without regular re-marketing resulting in costly rental voids. Doing it right from day one helps make sure your tenancies are successful and more likely to be longer and smoother.
Happy tenants ensure longer, happier tenancies and save you time, money and inconvenience. With over 8 out of 10 of our tenants renewing their tenancies, it's no surprise that you won't see many of our 'To Let' boards around the town. So make sure you register your requirements with us as soon as possible as the majority of our rental properties don't even reach the market and are let immediately to our tenant applicants.
One week's rent. This is to reserve a property. Please Note: This will be withheld if any relevant person (including any guarantor(s)) withdraw from the tenancy, fail a Right- to-Rent check, provide materially significant false or misleading information, or fail to sign their tenancy agreement (and / or Deed of Guarantee) within 15 calendar days (or other Deadline for Agreement as mutually agreed in writing).
At Cooper Hirst we aim to provide a personal and professional service to all our landlords but recognise that many have different requirements depending on specific need and the property or properties to be managed. We aim to keep fees competitive to both Landlords and Tenants without compromising service or delivery.

Flat had fleas when I moved in and almost everything had to be replaced whilst I lived in one of the flats they manage, including the cooker which exploded when I was using it (not user error I can assure you) the washing machine, the kitchen taps, the washing machine and the carpet had to be refitted (once the carpet was refitted, I was asked not to hoover too vigorously!) I lived in the flat for less than a year! The kitchen in general was fitted badly, there were gaps everywhere and the flooring in the bathrooms had started to go mouldy, a normal letting agent or landlord would refurb the whole
