Have just had a couple of nights at Newhaven first time camping and will definitely be going back. First of all check in super quick and easy shown to our pitch by a friendly groundsman.
Our electrical hookup was to short and the owner didn't hesitate to lend us a longer one.
Facilities are first class clean and secure a pin code is needed to enter the them.
Play park was a win for the kids.
Location of Newhaven was great for what we need with good access to the wider peak district. Thank you very much to all at Newhaven see you next year 🏕️

After reading some poor reviews on TripAdvisor prior to us going, they really made us think whether we should change campsite, however, we decided against changing sites and instead went ahead with our booking. I can honestly say, I don't know what those people experienced as the park and people were fab.
The park itself is spotless, from the pitches to the toilets and shower block, to the onsite park and shop, everything was maintained to a very high standard.
When we arrived, the staff were welcoming and looked after us straight away, taking us down to our pitch. Everything was explained to

Beautiful clean tidy campsite. Very friendly staff. Weather wasn't in our favour but Paul the Park Manager rang on the morning we were due to leave and gave us extra time for drying out the tent. So much appreciated. Would definitely recommend this site for a relaxing time except for when the flash storm emerges but that's the British Weather for you unpredictable. Thanks Paul for your relaxation allowing us to dry the tent for our next adventure. Regards Linda and Mike Hosker plus the 2 little ones for 1 night only (granddaughters). 🏕

Touring Caravan short stay
Where do I start:
You are packed in like sardines. The pitches are way to small, some only allowing for just your caravan and possibly at a squeeze and awning which means cars are just parked everywhere. We were near the play area which had kids "playing" till 10.00 some nights. There were young kids playing football in the road near the play area despite there being signs and staff who passed by just seemed to ignore it. After having my car hit 3 times and the caravan being hit twice I took it apon myself to tell the kids to go and play elsewhere. Which they did after
