Great location (1.5 miles walk down into Bakewell) with friendly staff and modern, clean toilet and shower facilities. Great little pub on site which is very busy so get in early! Pizzas offered at chuck wagon outside pub if you get hungry. Pitches could do with a little updating but all in all a great site we will come back to.

Say 3 years ago this touring site would have been amazing but now, itβs just tired and in places poorly maintained.
The so say great showers have paint falling off the ceilings, luke warm water and Black mould. We complained of the low water temp. but nothing changed in 3 days !
The main site pitches arenβt level and are just unkept. No waste bins on the site either, just large ugly open topped skips and recycling waste bins, which were frankly gross, so site owner friendly yes, guest friendly no.
On the flip side the bar was nice, the staff lovely and great areas for walking Dogs, mind

Just arrived back home after a great three day break at this really good holiday park. The whole site is well maintained and clean. The site is well situated within easy walking distance of Aldi and the fabulous Thornbridge Brewery and Taproom πππ
There's a regular bus service into Bakewell however, we walked it regularly and it's about twenty minutes.
The little pub onsite is superb (an old converted barn), the beer was of good quality and the bar staff were polite and friendly! We also made friends with a lovely couple and exchanged numbers! ππ
We are definitely booking again

Upon arrival at reception I was greeted by a rather sarcastically toned young lady. If I hadn't already paid for my holiday I would have politely told her to her to study some basic customer service skills and found an alternative site. First impressions are key!! Not the only one in our group who felt like this. Such a shame as the site is well located and has well maintained facilities.

As a site its perfect to get to Bakewell its only a short walk (1 mile) unless you go with someone who like to take detours.. Anyways,
The only reason I've not given it a higher score was the staff.. well the receptionist actually when we booked in.
The young lady had no customer service skills and I would hope Greenhills will address this with the correct training and skills she requires to talk to the public.
Accommodating to the situations put in front of them instead of being sarcastic and rude..
It's a shame really because its a lovely site.
We will be returning as this hasn't put us

Superb site. My whole family loved the place. I will add we were very lucky to have a field full of great people and families of similar age and children. Great facilities. Although there must be something to do about all the flies in the toilets. Or any attempts to clear them.
The pubs great and the play area is great. Would definitely recommend. If I had to nit pick I'd just say the fields could do with being levelled. We had a big pothole under ours and some pitches had some pretty bad sloping on them but just make sure you sleep with your head uphill π

Great holiday park. Touring pitches are hard standing (definitely need heavy duty pegs for awning). Lovely layout, kids play area, toilet and shower facilities were imacculate and ladies had a hair dryer (free to use). Pub on site and right next to the play area so ideal if you have kids. Shop inside reception selling essentials (only small but adequate) and aldi literally 2 min drive down the road. Easy to find.
Absolutely recommend!

Great site. Clean well maintained. Bar lovely.
Showers hot powerful kept clean.
Downside is disabled ladies shower, is not for disabled. Corner unit with about 6 inches step to get in, and about 18 inches width to squeeze through door. Grab rail to left behind door. Getting out down the step with weak leg us dangerous, especially as the none movable shower head splashes a good area outside the shower. Poor space for wheelchair uses.
