We are open again for tennis, including singles, doubles, coaching and formal group activities. We have fantastic playing facilities: nine high-quality courts, of which two are covered in the winter. Four courts are "Acrylic" and another two are covered with artificial grass and can be used in the rain. We strive to ensure that all children, young people and adults have an enjoyable tennis experience and are safeguarded from abuse. We have a welfare officer and policies which apply to all members.
Services
Our club in the residential area of Caversham Heights is a great place to play tennis - we are a friendly community, have fantastic facilities and enjoy a wide variety of playing opportunities. Members range in age from from 4 to 80 plus and in ability from beginners to top flight county players. In winter (October - March), two of our courts are covered by our state-of-the-art airhall dome.
Each Friday is junior night at Caversham Lawn Tennis Club. The whole place is buzzing with fun and excitement as junior and mini members of all ages come along to play some great fun tennis. Sessions are organised by the GDT team of coaches and our Junior Tennis Leaders, who join in to rally and play fun games.
Coaching at the Club is managed by our great team of GDT coaches, who are all LTA Qualified, Licensed and DBS cleared. The adult coaching programme features sessions for players of all abilities, from total beginner right up to club team players. What better way to fast track your improvement than a one-on-one coaching session - an hour just for you to develop those areas of your game most important to you.
