Yuhoki is a one of a kind, authentic Japanese restaurant located in Canary Wharf, the very heart of London's financial hub. We came upon the name Yuhoki as it means a 'blessed place' and it is our sincere hope that anyone who comes to visit us remains happy and blessed. At Yuhoki, our mission is to make daily meals into enjoyable and memorable experiences.
We specialise in mouth-watering traditional Japanese cuisine with a little touch of fusion, offering a large variety of both traditional and contemporary Japanese dishes creatively and carefully designed by our 5-star chef. Dine inside and out with a choice of an intimate meal in our cosy 15-seat interior or a meal in the sunshine on our 20-seat patio.

Closest tube station is Canary Wharf and Meridian Place is about a 10 min walk away. Take the main exit, go up the escalators, turn left, cross the road, go through the glass building with revolving doors (the sign says "Jubilee Place") and cross the footbridge. Then you should see a grey building which is the Hilton Hotel.

Went to have lunch here around 2 p.m. on a Saturday and although it wasn't full of customers, there were still a whole load of takeaway orders being prepared so the restaurant was busy, but our food still came to the table very promptly and every dish we ordered turned out to be great!
I probably won't say it's the best Japanese food I've had, but given the price (less than £10 for that Katsu dish!) and compared to more established places like 'Wagamama', then Yuhoki is an amazing choice! It's a small restaurant so not sure how difficult it will be to get a table during peak hours, but I'd recommend

This is a lovely little restaurant tucked away in Canary wharf.
The food here is of high quality and priced reasonably. I enjoyed it very much.
Service was great. Usually if you order tap water you'd have to ask for a refill but this was done without any prompting.
Chicken is only Halal.
I will definitely go back here.

Found another tiny jewel, a wonderful sushi restaurant hiding in Canary Wharf, Yuhoki. The atmosphere is fantastic, ingredient is fresh and staff are very friendly.
The tempura prawns are highly recommended and the sushi is delicious. The restaurant also offers a long list of Japanese Sake to accompany all the delicious food.

My husband and I were in search of good sushi in a laid back atmosphere. Well... we certainly found it here! Yuhoki is a little hard to find, it's kind of shoved in the corner of an outdoor plaza (which is also hidden by construction sites). But once you find it, you'll be glad you did! There's not a lot of tables, but there didn't really need to be. We popped in around 12:30 on a Friday and there was only one other table that was occupied. It seems that a lot of their business is takeaway. There is outdoor seating, but it didn't look very inviting. Metal chairs with the

This place is actually called Uoichi and it's at 122 Meridian Place. Pretty unassuming place but incredible sushi. The husband/wife team that runs this place wanted to make Japanese food like back home and they are doing it.
I had the most mouth watering salmon, fresh pickled veg, perfect rice all served by the charming team.
There is no better food or price point in this area - do yourself a favor and try it.

I was dragged here because I didn't believe this was a decent takeaway/Japanese restaurant. Upon entering the "restaurant" (I'll explain why it's in inverted commas, later), I was convinced that this is not the place to eat. What was my date thinking.....
Okay, anyway, it's not a full fledged restaurant but has ample seating for say around 12 people? It's a mini restaurant and delivers loads of takeaway.
Well okay, my food came and I was IMPRESSED. Err hello? Why didn't this place get a review on Yelp?! Apart from the soft shell crab which was slightly
