In 1979, Tony Cooper began refurbishing used machinery from an old farm building in Markfield. Over four decades later, son Gavin runs Markfield Woodworking Machinery (MWM) from a purpose-built showroom just five miles from where it all began.

Really pleased with the service provided by MWM. We had a full workshop kitted out with them and I initially chose to go with them because I wanted a company which would provide good after care and we could work with continuously as we grow as a business. With any type of machinery there can be problems but if you have the right people at hand to give advise and help the effects can be minimised quickly. I'm confident I've found this with MWM, any issues we've had have been resolved by phone immediately or within 24hours by sending a technician out. The technicians are friendly and very knowledgeable

Exceptional service and quality machines. The process of choosing, ordering and organising installation was made easy with good communication & updates throughout. I firstly started dealing with Gavin when I first set up my business which was for a power feed for my spindle moulder. A few years later I bought a tenoner, wide belt sander, mortiser, and a few different dust extractors. Each time the service was incredible. There is so much knowledge to him and his team which you feel so confident in using them time and time again. I also have them service and maintain my machines. Yet again always an amazing service. Every team member always have the time for you and always go out of there way to help out. Nothing is ever rushed and every Ser ice is 1st class

For many years I ran my own car repair business and have only come into joinery in the past 6 months, working for Habitat Joinery. In that time I've visited MWM 3 times and have been so impressed by the knowledge and information these guys have.
