80% of the adult population suffer from back pain at some time in their life. 1 in 5 of these people lives with chronic back pain. Yet gentle, effective exercise, delivered by a properly trained exercise professional, can often help with the prevention and management of low back pain.
This was underlined by the publication by NICE (National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence) in 2009 of medical guidelines recommending that people with persistent non-specific low back pain should be encouraged to stay physically active and exercise.GPs and medical practitioners are encouraged to refer patients, where appropriate, to properly qualified exercise professionals.

What is acupuncture? Acupuncture is an ancient healing art developed over the last 4,000 years, predominantly in China. Working on the body's vital energy flow, very fine needles are inserted into acupuncture points so that the body's healing response is stimulated to restore it to its natural state of balance.

Paul at The Partnership Centre has been AMAZING at fixing my back and getting me back to running. I've tried a few different places, both through the NHS and private but to no avail but Paul spotted the problem straight away and worked with me to solve the issues and free up my back. Thank you so much to Paul and his team, they've been utterly magnificent and got me back to my old (better) self.

If you are in need of physiotherapy I would highly recommend you go to The Partnership!
Everybody is so friendly and you immediately feel welcome as soon as you walk in. Paul Massey has treated me on a few… occasions for different injuries. He is extremely knowledgeable and skilled when it comes to diagnosing the issue and providing treatment. He ensures I can continue with training which for a sportsperson like me is extremely important. Other physiotherapists I have been to in the past insisted on rest which not only slowed down recovery but had a detrimental effect on my sporting performance

What Paul supports and enable me to achieve in return to sport after numerous major knee injuries is incredible!
He understood that as a sporty person, not being active wasnt an option, and so supported me on a complete rehabilitation plan - which as a result has made me fitter and stronger than ever.
Thank you
