Melton Plastics started life in 1972 as a sole trader to provide injection moulding and tool making services to then burgeoning Scottish consumer white goods and later electronics manufacturing sectors. In 1980 the company started trading as a Limited company.

Over the years Melton Plastics Ltd. has provided injection moulding services and manufactured injection moulding tools for a broad range of sectors, such as building & construction, electrical, defence, oil & gas, healthcare, aerospace, etc.With its 20 plus years of plastics experience, the new management has brought a fresh new approach and energy to Melton Plastics Ltd.
Melton Plastics Ltd. offers three different moulding processes; Injection, Compression and Direct Screw Transfer (DST) moulding. This range gives our customers options to choose the most optimum process for their applications. Utilising our modern range of injection moulding machines ranging from 50 to 350 ton clamp force, we offer our customers a high quality, reliable and highly competitive injection moulding service.
Following moulding, we can assemble different parts together to deliver the final assembled product. We can add metal inserts to plastic parts through heat staking or cold pressing them into the mould. For our customers looking for decorative finishes on their components, we offer hot-foiling and pad printing techniques.
