Knock School Caravan and Camping Park is a small, secluded, exceptionally quiet, family-run establishment, with space for ten touring caravans or motorhomes and a separate area for four tents. Situated in the idyllic coastal and rural area of Monreith, in Galloway, southwest Scotland, this approved park is open from Easter through to September, and forms an excellent base for a relaxing holiday, with numerous local attractions within easy reach.
Located on the A747, 3 miles south of Port William and 7 miles north of the historic town of Whithorn, the park is situated at the entrance to St. Medan Golf Course and the safe beaches of Monreith Bay. Knock School Holiday Cottage is the original 18th-century dame school, built to educate the scholars of Knock and Monreith village.

This approved caravan park is open from Easter to September, accommodating ten touring caravans or motorhomes (over 22' may have difficulty manoevering onto site), with a separate camping area for up to four tents (pitch size approx 32' x 19'). As a family run caravan park, great care and attention is taken in keeping the property clean and tidy.
Standing in the grounds of the former 19th-century village school is Knock Cottage, the original 18th-century dame school, built to educate the local scholars. Now, modernised and extended, the cottage offers a warm, comfortable and clean self-catering residence, for short breaks or longer holidays, with accommodation for up to 4 visitors.
Visitors to the park may appreciate numerous activities and attractions, both locally and further a field, to suit a wide variety of tastes, interests, time and weather conditions. The South West of Scotland has many great cycle routes ranging from the 7 Stanes in the Galloway Forest Park to The South West Coastal Cycle Route (named SW300).
