We're asked lots of questions by customers every week, you can find these and other questions in our FAQ. One of the most common questions we're asked at VansGB is, "I'm moving a sofa, bed, fridge, etc. what size or type of van do you think I need?" Our staff know the capacity of all our vans and are experts in matching you to a van best suited for your specific needs.
Almost certainly, but you'll need to call us as soon as you are aware you'll need the van longer! In most cases we are able and happy to do this, we'll adjust your payments accordingly which we'll settle up with you when you return the vehicle. Very rarely we may have to refuse*, in which case we'd ask that the van is returned at the agreed time.

Hired a van and enquired about the fuel policy when I picked it up. Was told it was full to full. Checked the gauge and it was on the line. Returned the van after use and refilled to gauge line. The next day they had not refunded the full £250 deposit and said they needed to put in around £15 of fuel to top up. Disputed this but they were very dismissive. Would not use them again.

So I hired a van that i was told would be a Renault master and big enough for my requirements, I even gave the dimensions of what I was transporting. After arriving at the hire centre to pick up the vehicle, I found that they didn’t have the van they told me I’d have and what they did have was to small for the job I needed it for. Had to spend an hour ringing around to find an appropriate sized vehicle for the job I was doing as they had completely let me down. No apologies, terrible company, would avoid like the plague. Would give minus stars if I could as had driven a fair bit to even get

I came under a company name. N&C Engineering. We were on a tight schedule. I got to the office only to be told that I couldn't drive the van as I had convictions. I said I was a named driver on the company policy but again was told no. I went back to the workshop to get another member of staff to drive the van instead. When I arrived back I then told that actually I could drive the van as the guy didn't listen to me when I spoke to him the first time. This then made the right scheduled day go quite badly. That's the reason for two stars I'm afraid.

Hired a Luton van from them. Those who know this class of vehicle understand it has a tail lift and cargo rails to secure your goods while transporting. I shifted a pallet of no more than 200kgs and utilised the cargo rails provided. Unfortunately the cargo rails failed to support the goods and came away from the side wall. The rail was damaged. The rail was not fit for purpose yet VANSGB failed to refund me the deposit of £150 and refuse to respond to my emails. This clearly wasn't my fault the cargo rails were not fit for purpose. Underhanded behaviour. Disappointing attitude.

I bought my wav in May 2018. One year later it was no longer needed. The quotes I am getting to sell it are around £7000 less than I paid. A large drop in 12 months. Garages cannot believe how I was so over charged. I have had two major defects in one year. I have tried talking to the garage about the original cost but no one will call me back.

Really good contacted them at short notice and they managed to arrange a van for me. Guy was really friendly and arranged it all super quick and I even saved £5 off the cost by checking in on my phone when I arrived. I was allowed to park my car for free while I used the van and the van was clean tidy and looked almost new.
Would definitely use them again.
If they open a branch in closer to the centre of Bath I'll give them an extra star.
TIPS:
Check in using Foursquare using your phone and it gets you £5 OFF
There is an Esso petrol station on site if you forget to refuel on return, but
