Services
This is the operation of forcibly propelling a stream of abrasive material (media) under high pressure to smooth a rough surface, roughen a smooth surface, or remove surface contaminants. Pressurized air is used to propel the media at the surface being treated. This is our preferred method of surface preparation for powder coating as it provides an excellent key for maximum adhesion of the powder.
We offer a full range of RAL and BS colours as shown on the chart below. We also provide more specialised colours and finishes such as candy colours, chrome effect and crinkles. We can also offer a colour matching service. Please contact us for more details. These colours are for reference only and are an approximation of the true colours.
The staff at Rye Metal Finishing powder coated my dog bowl stands, as they had rusted. It was a far less expensive option than replacing them and I had them done in a colour to match my kitchen. I am e-mailing to pass on my thanks for the superb work you did on the parts for my car. The two tone effect you suggested on the wheels really sets the car off, I am so pleased with the finished result!

After having problems with other powder coaters, these guys are worth the extra drive to get a professional job done. They have done a few bits for me now including motorcycle wheels and I have always been impressed by the care taken to make sure that the parts that don't want to be coated have been properly masked off.

Just had a very bad experience with this company. Having got a quote to finish a sculpture I had told the dimensions of, I left the metalwork at their yard. An hour later they called me back complaining it was too heavy to lift and too big wasting a day of my time and a load of diesel to go and retrieve it. I will never go back.
