If the United Kingdom does leave the EU without an agreement, The World Trade Organisation route may become the default solution, in which case UK businesses will have to apply customs, Excise and VAT processes to goods traded with the EU. We understand that our clients need to plan forward and we need to introduce their own contingency plans should such an event arise.
Utilising the Lloyd's Brokerage Network we are able to offer our customers Insurance on any cargo we move. In addition, we have our own Freight Liability Policy in place, (as is required to complete our membership of BIFA (The British International Freight Association) under who's Standard Trading Conditions we trade).
China Works help UK companies manufacture original equipment or source standard products from China. The team in China is managed by a pair of German and Swedish engineers who are bilingual and have over 20 years combined experience of dealing with Chinese manufacturers. Original equipment production - We help companies produce original equipment through our network of established manufacturers in Eastern China.
KPM regularly liaise with H. M. Customs & Excise on behalf of clients to ascertain Commodity Codes for both new and already imported articles. Thus they are able to confirm the EU Customs Duty. This service can carry a nominal charge, however, being effected here in the UK greatly accelerates any similar services provide by other EU Customs authorities.
Customs Warehousing allows an authorised importer to obtain delivery of Non-EC goods into his or her own premises by presenting, at the port of arrival of the goods, a simplified C88 Customs Entry. The facility removes the need of payment of any duties and taxes until such time as the goods, in all, or in part, are ready to leave the premises, which have been authorised for the purpose.
