Services
Drumquin Guest House is a former Victorian Schoolhouse which has been extensively refurbished to provide guests with modern and cosy Shetland accommodation outside of the capital Lerwick. We also provide high quality dining, sourcing some of the best local produce. We have 8 guest rooms with a combination of Single and Double accommodation.
All our rooms are comfortable, bright and modern with en-suite facilities. We also offer free WIFI throughout the Guest House, as well as a Sky Satellite Television package and Tea & Coffee making facilities within each room. Since taking over the Brae-based guest house in late 2010 it has become our mission to redecorate and renovate every room to bring it up to the high standards we set ourselves.
Our fully licensed hotel restaurant in Brae offers a varied range of dishes prepared on the premises by our small team. We source local, Shetland produce wherever possible. In the evenings we offer an A La Carte Menu. This Menu requires a pre-order in advance. Evening meals are on a bookings only basis and not available every Evening.
Apart from serving excellent food at our beautiful Drumquin Guest House in Brae, Shetland, we can take our services to you. With our vast knowledge and experience, we can take the hassle out of catering for large groups of people for any occassion. This can be catering for weddings, business lunches or community events, to name a few.
Our location in Brae provides a great base for exploring different parts of Shetland. The parishes of Delting, Lunnasting and Nesting are right on our doorstep and each is worth visiting or beautiful scenery and lovely coastal walking routes. Heading up to Northmavine is definitely a must do. Northmavine boasts some of the most stunning scenery in Shetland with walks aplenty.

My short three day stay at Drumquin was very comfortable and the food was excellent. Robert and Leslie go that extra mile to make sure that everything is just right. Robert also gave lots of great advice about places to explore in the area and always made a point of asking about your day on my return. Will happily stay again.

Had a wonderful stay on the 5th October. From the moment I walked in Leslie really looked after me, made me feel so welcome. Wonderful food and accomdation. My evening meal and breakfast was amazing. Definitely a must visit when going to Brae even if you don't stay over book a meal and get great tips on local area . Thank you Robbie and Leslie xx
