Swavesey Windmill is the perfect venue for weddings and civil ceremonies, whether you want to hold a small intimate event or a large family event, we have adaptable spaces that can accommodate your taste and requirements. We appreciate that it takes time to prepare and decorate the venue. Therefore we only host one wedding per weekend.

We love weddings, but we are also happy to host receptions, parties, wakes, christenings, anniversaries, corporate events and other celebrations. Our large event spaces and our scenic grounds offer a wonderful canvas on which to create your own special event. We even put on our own events on a regular basis.

We had our wedding reception here the week before Christmas 21 and it couldn’t have been better. Lisa and Pam were excellent and made sure our special day went as well as it could!
The location itself is beautiful and we barely had to decorate.
This is somewhere I’d recommend to anyone and will hopefully be back in the future for some more parties!
