We want to inspire and capture your perfect memories. We offer a number of different photography options so whatever your requirements Lightside has the right photography options for you. We're based in Cambridge but happy to work further out depending on the scope of the photography project. Whatever event your running we can capture the perfect photos for you.
We believe in giving back to our wonderful community. We have donated our resource numerous times with charities in and around Cambridge. We donate our time, equipment and skill to good causes that are making a difference to peoples lives. Throughout 2015 Lightside operated and supplied event photography for numerous events for Cancer Research UK.

Aside from using the latest Canon digital cameras and lenses, we have a strong line up of film cameras we use for events, portraits and commercial work. Why use film you might be thinking? Analogue photography has a certain aesthetic you just can not emulate with digital cameras. It's a dying art but we're still using 35mm and 120mm films with classic and iconic film cameras.
We love to tell and capture a story to bring your event to life in photos. Blending into the background so not to disrupt your event which gives us the ability to capture those great moments. We are relaxed around hundreds of guest and prefer to work in the background, allowing guests to get on and enjoy the occasion without even really noticing they are being photographed.
