One of the best private hotels I've stayed in. Spotlessly clean and very very comfortable beds. Breakfast was perfect both days we stayed WiFi was 100% throughout the building and even had a parting gift of some very nice home made fruit cake for our trip to the zoo. I Would highly recommend. Me and the boys look forward to coming back

If Carlsberg did accommodation, simply the best, fab hosts, fantastic breakfasts, very clean and new. made us feel very welcome, we didnt want for anything, well and truly looked after, very attentive to the end. Always there to help regarding eateries, days out.
A massive thank you to you both. Definitely would recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing laid back holiday on the Devon coast.

I almost don’t want to write this review because I don’t want people to know what a gem it is! The place is gorgeous! Debbie and Richard couldn’t be any nicer and couldn’t do anymore! We couldn’t have asked for anything else! The room was absolutely immaculate and the beds very comfortable and the breakfast just WOW!
We had homemade fudge on arrival which was the best we’ve ever had and Debbie gave us some Homemade Fruitcake for the journey home! Our daughter didn’t want to come home after a lovely 4 night stay! From the second we arrived until the second we left they couldnt have

My family and I went on our first ever trip down to Torquay this week and we was originally thinking of the Hilton in town until my sister suggested staying at a B&B. We found Bentley Lodge off booking.com and got 2 rooms for what we would've paid at Hilton! What a bargain. We went for Bentley Lodge as the reviews were excellent, and they were not wrong. My family have just spent a short stay at Bentley Lodge, Torquay. We would rate our experience as 10/10.
The owners were extremely welcoming, always happy to answer any questions or provide anything extra.For instance when we requested if we could eat in the garden, they provided extra plates, napkins, cutlery and glasses instantly.
The rooms were very clean and tidy, lovely addition of a fridge with milk, in glass bottles and water. Also use of a fan, hairdryer, iron etc.
Breakfast was lovely, using the idea of ordering the night before and times to eat.

What an amazing stay didnt want for anything during our 5 night stay. Fantastic breakfast lovely hosts, exceptionally clean with lots of little extras in the room! (Alexa, fan, homemade fudge,fridge)will defo be returning in the future...thank you for a lovely holiday!...and the complimentary fruit cake on leaving FANTASTIC!!

We totally enjoyed our stay here. Debbie and Richard are excellent hosts, always smiling and ready to help with any questions you may have. The Guest House is spotlessly clean. Our room was excellent and was just right for my small family of 3. The breakfasts were great too, there are plenty of items to choose from, there's even a continental option. On our last night we had a few drinks in the garden, lots of new furniture and new decking too.
We're hoping to go back there next year.
I recommend this B&B very highly.
