The Foot Clinic
The Foot Clinic is conveniently located in Preston, Paignton, and is easily accessible by car with parking close by, or by public transport where we are on the main bus routes. Extra wide doors and level access mean that getting into our treatment rooms is easy for you. Our treatment rooms themselves are spacious, comfortable and air conditioned.

From routine nail trimming, treatment of corns and callus, to help with more complex needs such as ingrowing toenails or heel and foot pain, we will provide foot care you need. We are even able to offer some of the latest and most advanced treatment options to help you manage your foot pain.
Services
This is the option for the routine care of your feet and treatment of common problems. From the removal of corns and hard skin (callus) to the conservative treatment of verrucae and ingrowing toenails, or advice on the management of fungal infections. During this appointment we will answer any additional concerns you have, so for example if you have noticed any changes in your feet, any lesions or signs of infection now is the time to ask!
Quite often pain affects the foot, the ankle or lower limb but we can't see anything on the surface that this could be attributed to. Especially if how you experience your pain is linked to activity and movement, it could be that you have a mechanical or structural problem in the lower limb that our specialists can investigate for you and help manage your treatment plan towards getting you pain free.
Shockwave Therapy is the use of mechanical shockwaves applied through the affected tissues to encourage a healing response and reduce musculoskeletal pain. Mechanical shockwaves are physical movements caused by high pressure events and the associated release of energy. For example, on a very large scale, the waves that you might feel through the ground following an earthquake or explosion are mechanical shock waves.
If you have had ongoing or recurrent pain from ingrowing nails, or if you feel that a nail is badly damaged or deformed you might consider Nail Surgery to remove the problematic nail. It is a simple procedure under a local anaesthetic where your Podiatrists will remove all or part of the nail and then apply a chemical to prevent regrowth of the nail.
Orthoses are medical insoles that fit into your footwear and are prescribed following your MSK assessment. By improving the mechanical function of the foot and ankle we can manage and reduce the symptoms and pain that you have been experiencing. The use of orthoses along with other rehabilitative measures (for example targeted exercise or Shockwave Therapy), can help with symptoms affecting the foot, ankle, knee, hip or lower back.

My first visit to a podiatrist, and I must say it was a transformative experience! I felt like I had brand new feet when I walked out 45 minutes later. Laura is an absolute star - and moe than a little brave to choose a career dealing with hooves like mine! The entire experience was outstanding. The chap on reception was charming and friendly, Laura gave my hooves a whole new lease on ife, and it didn't break the bank. I cannot recommend these guys highly enough. THANKYOU!

I use Danny here for a massage and he is excellent. A brilliant price for 1 hour treatment and he really knows his stuff as he is trained in different techniques.
