We pre booked a cab for 4am to take us to the Luton airport for our holiday.
Called the cab at 4:10, they had made an error and no cab was available, no replacement.
Two days later, while we were away, our dog fell ill.
We’d previously booked a few months before with a separate issue for a pick up with a dog and nothing was available, we thought we’d give them a third chance today, nothing available once again, this company is not dog friendly, emergency or otherwise.
Bad form when you have to catch a flight, bad form when you need an emergency service (vet)
Stay well away.

We booked a cab with this firm to take us to Heathrow airport at 4.30 in the morning. They confirmed the booking by text, with a reference number. They didn't show. We phoned three times. The first time the line cut off and the other two times we left a message. A week later and no-one has had the courtesy to call and, at the very least, apologise. We had to drive ourselves to the airport to avoid missing our flight. Not impressed. We will not use them again and do not recommend them.

Booked a cab to pick us up at the airport at 11.45pm..after no one arriving i called and they lied to me about why their driver was late.
Eventually at a higher cost I got another cab, the driver called me an hour after the time I booked to say he was nearby.
Terrible service and really not what you need when you have a late flight - it’s my local firm and I wanted to support locsl business.
I won’t use them again, unreliable and dishonest in their dealings.

I think I'm done with using them. The drivers are friendly and polite and never had a problem when they pick me from home. They arrive early and wait patiently. It's the airport pickups that they always fail on. I'm always waiting for the taxi in spite of repeated requests to send them in with a placard and telling them I don't mind paying for the parking, I mind waiting around even if it's 5-7 min. When I called the office today and spoke to Anne she instead questioned me scoldingly as to why the driver had not come in. Anne, please ask your driver and it was more your attitude on the phone that

After today's events I won't be using them again when I have other options. And I have to say I'm not the type of person that normally writes negative reviews, but today's events warrant one!
I have been using Alexandra cars for over a year when my regular cheaper taxi firm is busy, they had been ok - not always the friendliest or on time, but, overall, ok. Today I ordered a taxi for 12.00 to be at an appointment close by at 12.30. When it hadn't arrived at 12.10 I called to fnd where it was and was told it was about a minute away. Cab was booked for 5am, not arrived by 5.10, called office and was told the cab was on it's way. Called again at 5.15 and was told the cab had broken down. Was offered a replacement but this would have made me late for my flight. When I booked the taxi the night before the operator asked me 'are you sure that is in 5 hours' and I confirmed and asked her to confirm the cab because I definitely wanted it. I gave the company the chance to respond by contacting them via their site and no response. Makes me want to use Uber
