Airport Transfers Report

This service is available to passengers travelling to and from airports in the UK. Simply tell us the date you are flying and your flight number and leave the rest to us! Our driver will meet and greet* you at the information desk in the arrivals hall of the Terminal you arrive at. Your driver will carry a branded welcome board with your name on it and after having met you, will escort you to your vehicle and drive you to your destination.

Vehicles Report

Our full-size Saloon provides comfortable transportation for one to four passengers with sufficient room for two standard size bags. It is the preferred vehicle for getting around town or travelling to the airport. Ideal for small parties that require additional seating. You'll enjoy roomy and relaxed seating for up to Five passengers with adequate room for up to three standard size bags and two cabin bags.

Booked a car mid week for an early taxi to catch a train on Friday and I phoned to confirm the day before. On the day they called to cancel at the last minute - what is the point of a Minicab company if they are not reliable!

Driver did not show up at scheduled time without any contact from either driver or operator indicating a delay. After waiting 15 minutes I called the operator to locate my driver and spent 5 minutes on hold and was told the driver would be at least another seven minutes away - I ended up arranging an alternative transfer to the airport and cancelled the Rye Cars transfer given the no show and poor service. One should not need to wait 30 minutes for an airport transfer.

Affordable taxi service and good communication. Drivers was really punctual and especially for an airport transfer is really appreciated.
The only downside was no mask was worn by driver.

Positive: Professionalism
I booked two taxis with Rye Cars recently. Both times the phone operators were very polite and professional, and the drivers seemed very knowledgeable of the best routes to take and were very helpful. I found the fares good value for money, too.

Terrible terrible terrible like I was back in the 80s. Hopefully I won’t miss my flight. Pre booked cab for airport for 6:10am. Lady called at 6:10 to say driver on way and 5-8mins late. At 6:20 had to call back she gave excuses. At 6:25 cab driver called “I thought you cancelled”. 6:30, I cancelled and ordered an Uber, which I should have done in the first place.

I had to get from East Dulwich to an appointment in Harley Street a couple of weeks ago. I got a text confirmation and a call from the taxi driver just before pick up time. The driver was absolutely lovely, very chatty and courteous. Drove really well and the car was spotless. He ended up waiting during my appointment and taking me back to East Dulwich. I don't usually leave reviews but he was so nice and it made a huge difference on what was otherwise a stressful day. Would highly recommend.

Friendly and reliable. I went through a lot of different cab companies having various problems. Never had a problem with Rye Cars or their drivers. I've been a loyal happy customer for over 3 years now.

I believe some of those who reviewed this company here are competitors trying to tarnish its reputation! This is the best cab company in SE!!!!!
Me and hubby have been using this company for over 7 months, with weekly recurrence and I can only say THEY ARE ALL AMAZING.
From the operators responding to phone calls, to drivers, everyone at Rye Cars is polite, genuinely kind and drivers are very good and competent. We booked them even to go to Surrey with our ill kitty, and for whatever journey we were looking to arrange, they sorted every logistic problem for us. We have never been picked up late
