Tommy learned his trade through working at the infamous Mountune. Here he became noticed for his impeccable engine builds; most famously building Francoise Delacour's winning WRC engine in 1994, but also soon became proficient in all areas of engine preparation, dyno cell operation, mapping and everything in-between.
Not long after setting up on his own, Field Motorsport moved to its current home in South Woodham Ferrers in Essex where his workforce increased with highly skilled ex-Mountune staff and other family members helping to run the busy office on a daily basis. As well as the more exotic, we also offer competetive rates on general servicing and rebuilds.

Services
On-site we have our own machine room allowing bespoke alterations and creations to be carried out. This allows us to maintain a high level of quality to our work while cutting down on turn around time. The room features a lathe, bench drill and skimming machine suitable for heads, flywheels, blocks and more.
At Field Motorsport we understand what the people that participate in Motorsport require as we regularly compete ourselves. This gives us a massive insight into what our customers need; what we expect for ourselves, we also expect to be able to deliver for others. Tommy started off like many other past, present, and no doubt future champs in the seat of a Kart.
