Services
For your guidance we have provided information in this section for traditional funeral arrangements. They are not all essential and we will be pleased to assist you to choose your own personal selection. Our aim is to help you arrange the most fitting funeral service or ceremony. The funeral should reflect the life of the person who has died.
Burial may take place in a local Council run or privately owned cemetery. Most rural churches will also have a churchyard which may still have space available for burials. Burials in churchyards are usually only permitted where the deceased was a resident in the Parish or an existing family grave exists which can be used for a further interment.
This service is usually arranged by ourselves with the Crematorium of your choice, whose charges also include crematoria medical fees and the use of the chapel.
Most crematoria have the facilities to play music (either live through an organist or over an in-house music system), produce a slideshow of photos on chapel screens, and provide a live webcast of the service which can be accessed online by friends and family across the world, and can be recorded for future viewing.

There are many types of coffin or casket available including, traditional solid Wood, various Wood veneers, Bamboo, Wicker and even bespoke coffins printed with a photographed design specific to the person. We would be happy to discuss your requirements and advise on the relevant costs. Below are a few examples of the types of coffins that can be provided.
Bereavement raises many difficult and emotional issues that may cause you concern. Fortunately there are many individuals and organisations outside the immediate family to offer support and comfort. These include Ministers of Religion and organisations which offer sympathetic support to anyone experiencing bereavement.

As a family we cannot thank Sam and his team at Rose funeral services enough, words frankly aren’t enough to show our gratitude for making my father in laws funeral as beautiful as it was. Sam was professional and compassionate at every turn and it blew us away. Sam is so helpful with the planning and on the day, nothing was ever too much for him. On the hardest day of our lives Sam’s empathy and clear love for the work he does is something we will never forget and will forever be grateful for.

Thank you from the very bottom of my heart for looking after not only little Molly, but my sister and the rest of the family during such a devastating time. Your humanity shone through and I think I speak for the family when I say that we could not have wished for better. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
