After all of the drama from this year, I think we all agreed that just going ahead with the wedding was the right decision, but when we saw the gorgeous barn, the decorations and all of the lighting, it really helped confirm that decision for us. Our Barn is over 500 years old and has a stunning, high vaulted and airy ceiling with original timber beams. It has been carefully restored into a tasteful wedding venue ready for you to enjoy.
We believe that your wedding day should be unique to you as a couple and planning your big day should be an enjoyable experience. Our packages include the fee for our beautiful 16th Century Barn wedding venue, caterer, DJ for your evening party, tables and beautiful Chiavari chairs which can be accessorised by our in-house accessory business, Wilton & Flower.

Smeetham Hall Barn is the perfect venue for your wedding reception, following either a church, civil or humanist ceremony. With a stunning countryside location and landscaped grounds it makes the perfect backdrop for your wedding photographs. Our romantic wedding Barn also has a silk-lined 800 sq ft marquee which can accommodate up to 150 guests.

What can we say! We FINALLY got married after 3 failed attempts in Spain due to covid. We decided we couldn’t wait any longer so made the decision to get married in the UK and boy were we not sorry!! After trawling online we didn’t see any other venues which made us feel warm and fuzzy… until we came across Smeetham Hall Barn, which was an hour from us but we couldn’t not check it out!
We contacted the venue and got a lovely and prompt reply from Bridget who told us her remaining dates for the year and invited us to come and have a look the following day. We turned up, fully intending

The most stunning day for my Mum's wedding! As Maid of honour there was a lot to do but Bridget, Splinters and the whole team at Smeetham Hall Barn were exceptional from setting up through to music rehearsals, last minute guest changes and just taking the stress out of the day for everyone. I honestly couldn't recommend them enough for making dreams come true after the toughest year. We will be back!

Bridget and Sophie are amazing! They are utterly professional. The venue is absolutely stunning, presented beautifully and the attention to detail was so apparent everywhere you looked. It was very clear that no stone had been left unturned. Add to that Chris’s dedication to ensuring the capture of the best footage of the day and they quite simply provide the perfect package!
