Services
Osteopathy is a system of healthcare that assesses, diagnoses and treats the whole body and many health problems. It considers all aspects of a patient's life, examines many of the systems of the body to make an evaluation of the general health of the patient and identify the damage, strains and tensions causing the symptoms.
On your first visit to West London Osteopaths, our receptionist will take your contact details, then your consulting osteopath will take your case history of the presenting problem(s) along with a full medical history. This is followed by a physical examination, for which you will be asked to undress to your underwear, depending on the area under investigation.
David Tatton qualified in 1979 from the British School of Osteopathy and worked throughout the UK and London before establishing West London Osteopaths in 1984. He has treated people from all walks of life including athletes, photographers, actors, hairdressers, civil servants, teachers, nurses, doctors, babies, children, pregnant mothers, the middle-aged and the elderly.
All the Osteopaths at West London Osteopaths are registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) and have completed a rigorous full-time four-year course at the British School of Osteopathy, where they will have been awarded a diploma in osteopathy (D.O.) or, more recently, an honours degree in osteopathy (BSC (Hon) Ost).
Many private-health insurance schemes cover treatment from registered osteopaths. Sometimes the insurance company requires you to be referred to an osteopath by your GP or consultant before starting the treatment. Please contact your insurers to check this before you start treatment and ask them for a claims reference number.

Professional, experienced osteopaths who have helped me on numerous occasions. Lovely Pilates studio bright and airy with wonderful instructors who also work with the osteopaths to accommodate each persons individual requirements and twinges. Small personal classes, I always leave with a smile.

David and his team have been looking after all the family for years.
They are competent, efficient, and they do care for their patients.
I have recommended David to a lot of friends and they all gave me a very positive feedback.
