Services
Reflexologists are trained in a unique form of pressure point massage used to stimulate "reflex" points on your feet or hands. Practitioners consider the foot to be a reflective map of the body and the reflexologist works by massaging and stimulating these points. By relieving tension or congestion in the foot or hand, the effect is mirrored in the corresponding body part.
Baby Reflex is Reflexology specifically adapted for Babies and Toddlers. Fun and easy to learn, I run Baby Reflex workshops for parents, grandparents and care givers either in your own home or in mine. The workshops consist of three 60-90 minute sessions over a period of 3 weeks where I will teach the care giver all the techniques needed to effectively treat their own children.
There are many benefits to reflexology treatment. Reflexology is a very relaxing and enjoyable treatment. If there are tender areas this helps to pinpoint any possible imbalances within the body and areas to work on the feet to restore balance. Treatments are tailored to meet specific individual needs so you, the client, are fully involved in the process.
The only barrier to having reflexology is if there is an ongoing problem with DVT (Deep Vein Thrombosis) or any form of blood clot. Reflexology cannot claim to cure specific conditions however many clients have found that is has helped them hugely in coping with illness or present conditions. Reflexology is very effective in treating stress and all the symptoms that come with it including aiding sleep and relaxation.
