J.B. Clowes was originally established as a fencing contractor over years ago, with Jonathan the owner having over years experience in the fencing trade. The current business at New Farm was established in 2007 due to the demand from local agricultural, equestrian and fencing customers looking for a supplier of fencing posts, rails, wire, gates, etc.

We specialise in agricultural fencing and equestrian fencing projects and cover the supply and/or erection of post & rail, stocknetting & barbed wire, horse netting and the installation of all types of wooden and metal gates.

We carry large stocks of wooden & galvanised farm gates, wooden picket gates and a huge range of associated ironwork. Our galvanised gates are available in several styles: 7-rail gates, half-meshed gates and heavy duty cattleyard gates. We stock all sizes from 3ft to 16ft in 1ft increments. Our wooden picket gates are hand-made to the same heavy specification as the wooden farm gates and are available 3ft & 4ft wide and in various heights.

Here at J B Clowes we are the one-stop-shop for all your Animal Feeds & Bedding needs. We stock quality feeds and supplements for all your equine, poultry, pet and livestock requirements. Top quality small baled hay produced on our own farm is usually available all year round.

Our store stocks a range of feed from suppliers including many leading names such as TopSpec, Baileys, Spillers, Dodson & Horrell, Dengie, Heygates, Allen & Page, Rowen Barbary, Skinners and Chudleys.Most brands are available to order at your request. Some of the bedding available in our store includes Snowflake Standard, Snowflake supreme, Bedmax, Easibed, Swish and Aquamax.
