Some have been with us For as long as we have been in existence. Student satisfaction is the ultimate aim of all agents and providers.
We offer 3 types of group course for juniors aged 12-17. They all include an English course in the mornings for 15 hours per week and a leisure programme of sports, cultural visits and full-day excursions in the afternoons, evenings and weekends. Vacation courses for young learners are international and run in the school summer holidays.
Students are assessed on arrival and placed in mixed nationality classes according to their level. Teachers know how to help individuals in each class improve their skills within their own levels. They work on all areas of language, but the main aim is to improve the students' speaking and listening skills.
Teachers of English in European schools plan short educational trips for their pupils in the UK once or twice a year. Their aim is to bring language to life for their pupils. They achieve this by having the pupils stay with local families where they can use their English in real settings. They also plan visits to historical sites, museums, towns and villages and explore the countryside and landscape of the different parts of Great Britain.

Our tutors are experienced, welcoming and have access to quality resources for all levels and needs. You can study General English, Business English and Examination Preparation, and you can combine your English course with activities and sports.

Our daughter had the best weeks ever. Everything was so well organised and it fitted so good. It was amazing. So happy with Mercator. They really were eager to find the best possible teacher for her. And they managed. It fitted like a glove! And they also found her the best surfschool. it is amazing. Really impressed by Mercator and forever thankful!

Amazing experience, my teacher and his family were very friendly and kind. The classes were great, focused on what I needed and adapting the lessons when necessary. I had also the chance to get to know Cornwall thanks to various activities with my teacher and his family. Intensive course that helped me to feel more confident when speaking english. I highly recomend it.
