Founded in 2005, Destiny Scotland is a brand well known for offering a stunning collection of high quality serviced apartments in central Edinburgh and Glasgow. Keyless entry is a great idea and meant we could just get straight in to apartment without having the hassle of having to check-in which was handy when we had a late arrival time.
Handy secure parking just round the corner too. Good: This property is located in a great area. Its walking distance to everything but is also not in a main street so is nice and quiet at night. My partner and I stayed here one evening whilst working in Edinburgh. We were amazed at how stunning the apartment was, its location next to Haymarket station and it was so cheap for a mid-week break!

The fire alarm went off 3 mornings out of 4 (it may have been every morning but we were out at 7am one day). This meant that the entire building needed to evacuate and wait until the fire service had given the go-ahead to return. There was no fire on any of those days. I have raised a complaint to Destiny Scotland as there is clearly an issue with the alarm system, which ruined what should have been a relaxing stay. Unfortunately they are not willing to provide any refund or voucher for use at alternate accommodation in the future.

We had a wonderful stay with destiny Scotland in Edinburgh, the apartments were comfortable and clean. However, once we were leaving we attempted to use the discount given during booking for the NCP parking and it didn’t work. When calling destiny Scotland the person who answered the phone was extremely rude and unhelpful, dismissive and unapologetic. At £550 for a stay then an additional £80 on parking that we were assured would be 50% off at the time Of booking it has put me off coming back

We checked out of our apartment on 31st May. The company emailed me to confirm we had left the property in a good clean condition and we would have our full deposit returned to us. So far we have not received the deposit back in our account, I've sent two emails to ask for an update and had no response. At this stage, I'd just appreciate someone getting in touch with me as it's common courtesy to respond to your customers.

They took my money for a booking, let me travel with my young family from down south and then cancelled my booking at 7pm.with us standing OUTSIDE the empty apartment that we had paid for because they couldn't get a hold of me that day to take a safety deposit. I work on roofs so can't answer my phone. I offered to pay the following morning but… was told it was now canceled. shocking Behaviour to a family that had travelled to glasgow and had paid for the apartment. it has ruined our whole weekend and we are now going home early. shocking company, keep well away!

We've just had a wonderful stay with Destiny Scotland. They were exceptionally helpful. We stayed in a 2 bed apartment in Hanover Street. The apartment was absolutely lovely and the views were incredible. It was the perfect spot to explore Edinburgh - overlooking Princes Street in the heart of Edinburgh.
