Popped in for a coffee this afternoon, kind of wish I hadn't. I asked for a Flat White, my freind had a "Delux Cappuccino". We also asked about cakes. Both of us opted for the Apple Pie with Ice Cream.
To say I was disappointed is a bit of an understatement. The pie was flat and soggy and to be honest wasn't the best tasting apple pie. The ice cream was a single scoop of cheap Raspberry Ripple, the kind of cheap, nasty stuff I would have gotten as part of a primary school dinner some point in the late 1980's.
The pie arrived 1st then the coffee's a minute or so later. We didn't get any cutlery

Stumbled on this place, when out looking for food, staff were very friendly and the setting was very smart and cosy. The food was very nice, I had the haddock mornay with creamed cabbage and bacon, which was very rich but beautiful. The wife had the steak which was a little over cook and had too much pepper for my wife, but was still nice. Overall I would definitely recommend eating here If your passing by. Followed by a nice stroll along the promenade.
