Lessons in Claverdon, Warwickshire and Redditch, Worcestershire (close to Birmingham and Solihull), with qualified Shaw Method teachers. At Swim with Ease we specialise in teaching adults. Our one to one swimming lessons enable swimmers of all abilities to learn to swim with a safe, comfortable and effortless style that benefits both mind and body.
Lessons are at a pace that suits you. So whether you are a beginner or a competent swimmer, anxious or confident, we can help you to get the most out of your time in the water. I would highly recommend the lessons to anyone, swimmer or non swimmer. However if you do gulp water, can't put your face in and are afraid this is the way to overcome those fears and barriers.

Ardencote Spa pool is a deck level pool with graduated depth. The shallow end, where we do most of our teaching is 1.3m deep. We use the deeper part of the pool to help swimmers develop deep water skills, like surface diving and treading water. Sometimes it's fun to just jump in. The pool is situated at Ardencote Country Club Hotel and Spa, The Cumsey, Lye Green Road, Claverdon (near Warwick), CV35 8LT.
One in five adults in the UK can't swim. Many don't swim well or enjoy swimming. Even competent swimmers often swim with unnecessary tension and can suffer from neck or back pain after swimming. Traditional swimming lessons (teacher shouting instructions from the poolside, measuring success by speed or distance) have failed for many people.
We require a 100 (non-refundable) deposit in advance of your lessons with the balance payable at your first lesson. Half an hour. Lesson prices include entry to the health club and use of the pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi before and after your lesson. Missed lessons are not refundable.
Please give us a minimum of 48 hours notice if you know you will be unable to attend a lesson and we will try to arrange for you to swap lessons with another client.Alternatively we may try to sell your missed lesson to another client and refund you 25. Although we do our best to reorganise missed lessons for you, we cannot guarantee we will be able to.

Brilliant experience - would highly recommend to any level of ability!
Victoria is a fantastic teacher; very patient, friendly, knowledgable and and professional. I approached her having learnt to swim as a child but lost confidence since. She was able to hone and adapt the skills I already had while grounding them in the important basic techniques and building my confidence in the water, always working at my pace. She can always find new ways to present techniques and skills to allow me to perfect them, constantly encouraging and advising along the way. I loved having my weekly and was surprised

I cannot praise the teaching from Victoria enough. My front crawl resembled a seriously out of breath flailing donkey. This is not an exaggeration! After just a short course of lessons the techniques were in place to practice. The results are unbelievable. I can now swim consistently gliding through the water effortlessly. I cannot thank Victoria enough for the joy that swimming now gives me. I would reccomend her teaching to beginners and improvers. You will not regret it.

I have had a number of 'improver' lessons with Victoria, and found her to be an excellent teacher. My crawl has improved considerably as a result of her input. I can wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone: I am certain her skills, her gentle teaching approach, and her encouragement will be of benefit to beginners and improvers alike.

Having lessons with Victoria to improve my breast stroke technique has increased my confidence so that I now enjoy swimming regularly. I have also started taking lessons in front crawl. Lessons are fun, positive and complex sequences are broken down into manageable steps that suit me. I would thoroughly recommend SWE.

I have been having lessons with Victoria for nearly two years and during that time Victoria has helped me to have a very positive relationship with the water. Victoria is a highly experienced teacher and always has another route if something isn't quite working or if it needs refinement. In those two years, I have learned sculling; breast stroke and currently the front crawl. Being immersed in the water is a fabulous, envigorating feeling, almost one of being in another world. Only the back stroke left to learn so I have a wonderful armoury now with which to exercise. I emerge from my weekly lesson
