We aim to provide fun lessons in a safe and friendly environment which will provide your child with essential swimming skills. At Sea Urchins Swim School our small ratios ensure teachers can focus on all children's progress. We provide children with the fundamentals of swimming right from their first lesson working towards Sea Urchins Stages and many other Swim England awards.
Alongside these awards we also complete personal survival badges. Children are also given the opportunity to attend Rookie Lifesaving lessons where students work as a team to learn vital skills that help to save lives. Teaching diving throughout the Stages also creates confident divers which we believe is an important skill and is an enjoyable part of swimming lessons.

Services
The swim school is run by Luke, who teaches along with our strong and highly qualified team, they are all DBS checked and attend regular in-house training with Sea Urchins Swim School. We are committed to providing safe and fun lessons for children of all ages. We use our knowledge of all aquatic disciplines to make sure each and every child is pushed to their full potential.
Just to let you know that Lottie is now swimming for 2 hours a week with the Worcester Swimming Club. Thank you for everything you did to get her to this competitive standard so she got spotted to swim for Worcester. She certainly holds her own and is doing really well. We will invite you to come and watch her in competition soon!
Below is the syllabus we use. This syllabus is a mixture between the old ASA Levels and new Swim England Stages. These Stages are harder than the Stages at other Swim Schools, but we feel having stricter criteria will produce much better swimmers! 8. Perform a Breaststroke start with 1 pull, 1 Butterfly kick and 1 Breaststroke kick underwater and complete remainder of the 25 metres.

I agree with this piece of advertising. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Ive tried a few but was not comfortable with class size but this is exceptional, 6/7 in a class with 2 teachers/helpers is perfect. This… place is fabulously run, teachers are fun and so inspirational for the kids, they are friendly and teach from the water so I can sit back and read my book! I really think all kids need to learn this skill and I’ve found a place I can truly trust!

Kids love the pool and water, the reason for this is Sea Urchins! Tremendous staff, teaching style and gets the kids chatting, working together, watching and learning quickly! Like the touch of helpers in the water to make very small teaching groups. So good for my lovely’s! 🙋🏻♂️ will totally stay here!

Since my son has started this swim school I must say I have seen a MASSIVE improvement to his confidence and his ability to swim! my son has had very little confidence with water to the point he panicked with water on his face, but since being taught by Luke and with the help of other members, Harvey-Daniel is happy and always excited to get going and get stuck in with every swim lesson, to the point its all he asks about all week.

Our first two children have both learned to swim at Sea Urchins and initially lacked confidence in the water.
Luke and his team are really patient with both of them and have developed them into confident swimmers.
Needless to say, we are that happy with Sea Urchins our third child will be starting there as soon as possible.

My Son has learnt to swim at Sea Urchins. He was very nervous with putting face in the water, had loads of encouragement and progressed at the right speed for him. Really great teachers. He still enjoys going every week and improving on his technique 🏊♂️ As a family we love the fun sessions at the end of term 😊
