Services
We'll teach you the English Language at the correct level using lively and effective communicative methods. Students are offered 15 hours of General English per week at all levels, beginner to advanced. The 15-hour programme is taught between 9.30 a.m. and 1.00 p.m. each morning, Monday to Friday. This can be combined with afternoon classes from 2.00 p.m. - 4.15 p.m. which focus on IELTS preparation or afternoon work experience.
We specialise in customised group packages for groups of young learners and teenagers aged 10 - 17 for General English or exam study or project work, incorporating CLIL on request. The mix of lessons, accommodation and social programme can be adapted to suit your needs and your budget. Group courses are available all year round.
For groups of 10 or more football crazy youngsters or adults, we offer an exciting two-week course and the chance to improve footballing skills with trained coaches from Newcastle United Foundation. Going to a Premiership match at St. James' Park is an intrinsic part of the course if you come during the Season!
We offer homestay accommodation for our adult students. Our friendly host families live within walking distance of our school, most within a 5 - 10 minute walk. If you like walking some families are 20 - 25 minutes away. On request we can also provide homestay accommodation for 16 - 17 year olds. In this case, family homes will be close to the school and all family members over the age of 18 will be DBS checked.
If you arrive at Newcastle International Airport we will meet you and bring you to Whitley Bay. An airport transfer costs 30. If you want to make your own way from the airport to the school, a taxi will cost around 30 and a Metro train (change at South Gosforth) to Whitley Bay is 3.30 for a single fare.
