Student apartments with 54 private en-suite bedrooms in Newcastle1 plus over 200 homestay bedrooms.
A well-equipped school with 16 classrooms and a large Personal Study Programme (PSP) language learning suite (see below), as well as a students' room/cafe and free wi-fi throughout the building. All of our teachers are experienced and either CELTA or DELTA qualified. We also have one of the most advanced teacher development programmes in the UK.

Services
International House offers evening classes in Spanish. If you are at work or attending studies during the day, you can now improve your language skills in the evening. Beginners- This level is suitable for those who have no knowledge or previous experience in the language. Intermediate- This level is if you already understand a wide range of everyday vocabulary and you can communicate in everyday and simple situations.
Please note that for all bookings there is an enrolment fee of 50 to cover all administration costs. This will be added to the course fees. For course deferment or cancellation after payment has been made. This fee also includes the necessary documents for visa administration (if applicable). Tier 4 enrolment (including CAS) is 100.

Actually, It disappointed me . I didn’t like the timetable. One more thing, some of the ladies are not cooperative with me and with some students and when I asked them to change my timetable or something else they didn’t do and they did that for some students they knew them. Before I gave them my financial letter they treat me well after that everything has changed In my opinion If you want to learn E and be in a good school go away from this school.

I would say that this school is an ideal place for all the beginners and intermediate learners as it endeavors to meet learners’ needs through providing several attractive programs.
I have been here in Newcastle for almost three years, and have seen many students who studied in this school and heard lovely things about the school. My wife has also studied there and made a solid improvement in a very short time. She’s very pleased with the experience.
The team there is very professional and highly qualified, especially Caroline, the academics director. She’s just superb. She cares a lot

I have been to international house 3 times and each one was better the the one before the stuff were amazing and helpful specially Caroline the head teacher
You don’t have to worry about visiting newcastle without having any idea about where to go and what to do
Because in INH they have social programs that let you discover a lot of places in newcastle or outside newcastle
So I highly recommended for anyone looking for English school and actually if you are interested to learn another language they have different languages classes

I had the most great time during studying in IH. I made wonderful friends and the atmosphere of learning to speak English was amazing.
Not only that, but I also enjoyed going to the social program activities which allowed me to practice the English language outside the school.

My company, CLINCH, Studies Abroad, has been representing this school in Argentina for 4 years, and since then I have sent students of all ages (14 to 75!)
Absolutely everyone has had wonderful experiences. Not only from the point of view of learning English, but also for the complete cultural experience that includes social activities, excursions… and stay with host families or at Newcastle I.
My communication with the staff and the owners of the school is permanent, because it is our goal to take care about the particular needs of each student. We want to assure that his/her experience

I was studying at the International house for about 3 months.
Firstly I stayed with a host family in a suburb of Newcastle and after that in the student accommodation "Newcastle one." The idea was to experiences both to find out which suited me best. At least both options had their advantages. I made the best progress while staying with the host family as they spoke perfect English to me the whole time I was there.
I changed after 1.5 months to the student accommodation Newcastle one. It was completely different compared to the host family. Most of my school mates were staying at Newcastle one

I studied my CELTA certificate here and worked with them. Great place to learn languages, make friends from all over the world and do all kinds of fun activities. The staff and management is friendly, helpful and very hard working and the teachers are excellent! Probably the best place where I've ever studied or worked.

I definitely recommend IH Newcastle if your goal is to learn/improve your English skills! Excellent language school with amazing teachers and helpful staff!

I have been to York, Durham, Whitby and… Edinburgh - in Scotland. As for the Accommodation, it could not be better. The host family was lovely and treated me like family!

I honestly don’t have one bad word to say about this school. The teachers were very competent and made the classes both educational and fun. Sometimes it didn’t even feel like I was in class, it was like having interesting conversations with some friends.
The social program gives you great opportunities to get to know the amazing city of Newcastle and your fellow students. Trips to different cities and fun activities accur every week!
I had the time of my life here!
