Moreton Rangers Football Club was established in 1907 under the name Moreton Town FC. During their time in the Hellenic Premier the club were bankrupted half way through the 1994/5 season. Moreton Rangers was formed in 1997 as an Under 8s youth side, playing on the wold Moreton Town ground at London Road, Moreton-in-Marsh in the heart of the Cotswolds.
Due to the financial demise of Moreton Town, the young Moreton Rangers were born. The club grew from strength to strength and by the early 2000s had expanded to 4 youth teams who went on to be successful in the Witney and District League. In 2006, the club were awarded the FA Development Status as a supporter of 5 youth teams and an adult side.
