As always, all of our menu is available for Take Away, either hot to eat straight away or for you to heat up at home. We are still offering a deli delivery service, . Roma is a genuine Italian business established nearly 30 years ago and run by two Italian families from southern Italy. The Caff offers a delicious range of food including pizza, pasta, lasagna, soup, toasties, sandwiches, desserts and coffee.
Our well-stocked Deli sells everything from Italian meats, salami, cheeses, olive oil and panettone to tinned and bottled groceries. We also have an extensive wine and drink selection, and produce fresh bread and pastries from our on-site bakery. Not only this but we also offer services such as buffets, hampers, gift baskets and gift vouchers!

Services
Before any other part of Roma there was Roma Delicatessen. We pride ourselves on the finest imports from Italy and the finest home produce we can make.
The deli sells a huge range of Italian produce from meats including Prosciutto, Pancetta, Mortadella, Bresaola and salami; cheeses such as Parmigiano Reggiano, Mascarpone, Ricotta, Provolone, Dolcelatte (Italian Blue cheese) and Pecorino; pasta in a wide variety of shapes and colours; antipasti including green and black olives, grilled peppers and artichokes; dolci including biscotti, amaretti, and panettone; jars and bottled goods; and a range of Roma's own-brand products, including pasta sauces and ice cream.

Our own bakery on the premises allows us to make our own fresh bread, pizzas and cakes. All of our bread contains Extra Virgin Olive oil and we make both large and medium-sized loaves along with small breads. Or you can always order a particular style of bread to your taste, if you call us the day before.
We mainly import cheese and meats from Italy. Our fresh cheese delivery comes twice a week. We are EEC licensed and so we slice and pack all Italian cured meats on the premises, for wholesale only. We are also sole importers of the White Tuna. We import most of our products you'll find in our Deli/shop.
These are so popular! Ideal for children but just as fun for adults, in this gloomy weather These are 10 per package and serve 2 children or 1 adult. As always, all of our menu is available for Take Away, either hot to eat straight away or for you to heat up at home. We are still offering a deli delivery service, however, this will be limited to morning deliveries or late afternoon.
In 1987 two families bought a small deli that sold lots of European products. They decided to make the deli products predominantly Italian. They then extended to make a small caff, selling coffee, pizzas and sandwiches. In 2008 we moved premises during the redevelopment of Whitefield. To this day Roma is still very much family orientated, with three generations working to keep that family, friendly atmosphere.

Great Xmas Eve Italian meal. This place has a real great vibe and the food is brilliant! Staff are lovely and friendly. We were visiting family in the area after travelling up from Croydon. Found Roma online and paid a visit. Absolutely brilliant and great value! Thanks we’ll be back next time!
Love Chris & the family.

Very poor food, the bread was not fresh tasting, the pre made Napoli pizza base was thick and not even warmed through and the Salami was just warmed not cooked, not good at all. I was expecting near restaurant standard but it wasn't quality or value at £7. Its a corner cafe. I guess everyones doing their best but it could offer so much more if the management and owners took a reality check on the quality and menu.

Potential to be a nice place, its a Deli with Greasy-spoon clientèle. The staff deserve better customers.
Lavazza crema aroma coffee would be better than the bitter over roast coffee that would require sugar.
Lovely staff, lovely environment but I chose to take away rather than sit amongst the oddball customers. 🤪

Great place to eat, at exceptionally reasonable prices. As it was just a quick lunch with a friend. I had minestrone soup my friend had chicken soup. Wow it was a meal in a bowl full of flavour and came with thick freshly sliced bread and butter. If you needed any extra bread just ask. Very impressed and had a great cup of coffee to finish. The staff were all very friendly and the service was good.We did buy cakes and bread from the shop to take home.
Fantastic cakes! Would definitely recommend Roma in Whitefield

An absolute must for foodies and fans of Italian food. Eating in is a delight. Real authentic food made by the same family for over 40 years. They also have a shop and deli on site where you can get too quality Italian ingredients. The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable about their food. Even offering tips on how to improve your own cooking at home! Definitely worth a visit.

This place really took me by surprise. It's on the main road, attached to a Morrisons store and is supposed to be an authentic Italian deli...my expectations were not too high but I have got to say that this place is great and the people of Whitefield are lucky to have such a great deli on their doorstep.
They have freshly baked bread, Italian meats, cheese, homemade icecream, olive oil, cream cakes and more. We stopped by for a small bite to eat, which turned into a big bite to eat and we will definitely be back.
In particular, I would recommend the fresh bread from here and also the icecream

Excellent food and drink, excellent service, music's a little loud!
This rare bird in Whitefield, out of the city, is worth the trip - come for breakfast, or lunch or afternoon tea, and then stock up your pantry - do people have pantries any more? - with Italian goodies.
The service is excellent with staff ready for you as soon as you walk in. Food is great and the coffee is strong. Plenty of seats and when the sun's out, you can sit outside by one of the busiest roads in Manchester, if you must!
No wifi but that just means you have to focus on the present and the company you keep

Roma is a nice local deli , it has an Italian root and that theme spreads through the building and down into the olives they serve !
But a lot of the products served seem only like that of the quality of a supermarket yet with an Italian label! Now don't get me wrong that may apply to the dry goods on the shelf but the fresh cakes and deli items are beautiful !
I can highly recommend the tiramisu - it's nothing like the drivel you get in a supermarket it tastes extraordinary alongside this the biscotti is marvellous !
Having had friends eat in here I can report back that the service

When you think of Italy, a shop unit adjacent to Morrison's on Bury Old Road is probably not what springs to mind. Don't be misled though - Roma is authentically Italian in every way.
It's a triple act here - shop, cafe and takeaway.
The shop sells all manner of Italian foods - pasta and Roma's home made pasta sauces, rice, polenta, pannetone, home made ice cream, sausages, charcuterie, antipasti... you name it, it's here.
Then there's the take out - home made pizzas etc. (we went for a take out salami calzone which was amazing) and desserts. The desert I went for

Me and Woody popped in Roma for lunch today, nothing more than I would expect, good food (Anti Pasti for me, Woody had Garlic bread with cheese!?) And reasonable prices. One point, I ordered a glass of wine, when the waitress brought it over, I had to smile because she was spilling it all the way to our table, if you know the Roma and part of its charm is it has no pretence just a family run business. We finished with good cakes ,Canoli for me and a Mount Vesuvius for Woody. Tip top.

This is great little deli/restaurant/cafe which I can't recommend highly enough.
They sell all things Italian in their small but very well stocked shop. Several different types of pasta both fresh and dried, specialist sweets and biscuits, pasta sauces, specialist alcohol etc.
On the counter they have a wide selection of meats, it's hard to choose what not to buy! And their cakes (especially the vanilla slices) are heavenly - although one of these is enough to share.
They also sell a wide range of Panetonnes around Christmas.
They do takeaway and stay in food - the sandwiches
