If you have an enquiry, please do not hesitate to contact WPNSA and the appropriate member of our team will be happy to assist you. Tasked with an incredibly diverse daily role on site at WPNSA, Peter uses his knowledge of dinghy and keelboats including Olympic representation at the 1984 and 1992 Games, as well as success in the GBR Admirals Cup to practical use.
Rachel worked at WPNSA for many years and now works remotely as the accountant and company secretary. Sally organises the events at WPNSA, liaising with the class associations and the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) on their requirements including volunteers, equipment, facilities, catering etc. In addition, Sally also looks after the WPNSA social media, website and IT support.

Services
The Academy has been developed with access for all in mind. It was previously the training base for the British Sailing Team Paralympic squad the same facilities are open to all disabled sailors. The site and building are fully accessible to wheelchair users with a lift at either end of the building.
Weymouth and Portland thrive on their tourism industry and therefore they are many different offerings for accommodation in the vicinity of WPNSA. There are a wide variety of types of accommodation available ranging from campsite to hotels and everything in between. WPNSA has the facility for up to 40 campervans/caravans onsite, although this does not offer all of the facilities that local touring parks provide.
These times are subject to bookings; during events and training if instructed the cafeteria can be open later for evening meals. We also have an onsite bar which again can be opened during the busy times of events and functions. Parking is free and we ask that cars are parked in the designated car parking spaces.
When you arrive at Weymouth: take the A354 to Portland. This will bring you to the causeway linking Weymouth and Portland. Halfway along the causeway you will reach a mini-roundabout, turn left, we are signposted 'Sailing Academy'. The number 1 bus from Weymouth stops outside of the Academy and runs every 15 minutes during the day.
Here at the Weymouth & Portland National Sailing Academy we are recruiting for a Cleaner who has an eye for detail, enjoys a challenge and working as part of a team. We are looking for people who are willing to 'get stuck in', be adaptable and flexible and able to react to our changing customer requirements.

I was impressed at the value this offered for boat launching, with a nice slipway, decent parking and from appearances a nice cafe (which due to an event and covid situation I didn't visit). I would happily come back again. Members of the trip stayed in their motor home for the night, it was nothing special for them being in a car park but was very convenient and a good price
