M C Hearing is owned and managed by Maggie Clark, who has 25 years of experience in Audiology, 22 within the NHS. Maggie is fully qualified as a Clinical Audiologist, a Hearing Therapist and a Hearing Aid Dispenser, registered with HCPC and RCCP, Member of; BAA, BSHAA, AIHHP, and BTA.

Throughout her career Maggie has specialised in advanced, complex audiology cases, has a keen interest in Tinnitus, wax removal and now offers a private, high quality, personal, expert Audiology service.Kathy Mayhew has joined Maggie at M C Hearing. Kathy is a very experienced Audiologist with 20 years' service in the NHS.

Ear Wax Removal Report

Maggie and Kathy are experienced, registered Clinical Audiologists who are fully trained to remove wax using this technique. Microsuction involves detailed examination of the ear canal using binaural microscope loupes glasses. Then very gently and carefully using a fine low-pressure suction device the wax will be removed safely and painlessly.

Tinnitus Therapy Report

Tinnitus is when noises are heard in the head and or ear which have no external source. It is not a disease or illness; it is a symptom generated within the hearing system. The type of sounds heard can range from a ringing, buzzing, hissing, whistling or other noises. The noise can be constant or intermittent and it can vary in volume, pitch and can present as multiply noises.

I found MC Hearing on Google search, and thank goodness I did, my ear canal is slightly abnormal and is challenging when ear wax needs to be removed.
Maggie Clark was empathetic, caring, attentive and kept checking I was alright. She did a superb job and I highly recommend her. I will be using her services in the future if needed.

I was able to book an appointment within 24hrs. I went in with about 30% hearing in my right ear and after a painless procedure to remove wax my hearing was restored. Highly, highly recommended.

Recently had ear wax removed via microsuction. This is a much safer method than what is commonly used in most GP surgeries. Maggie was very patient, clearly explained the procedure and made me feel at ease. The clinic is also easy to get to via public transport. Overall a very good service and highly recommended.

Excellent, professional, great value. I would highly recommend this company, I had micro suction and the procedure instantly solved my hearing issue. I didn’t realise how bad my hearing was but also how easy/painless it was to rectify.
