Based at Hurn Bridge near Bournemouth Airport on the north eastern edge of the South East Dorset conurbation comprising Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch, Wimborne and Ferndown, the Dorset Cricket Centre serves a local population of half a million people in those towns, the Eastern half of Dorset and the New Forest part of Hampshire.
The Centre has two main objectives: to ensure firstly, that all who use it, young and old, male or female, enjoy the time that they spend there, and secondly that Dorset cricket continues to attract keen young players and that standards continue to improve. The Centre has two main functions: to provide nets for practice and coaching, and to host Indoor Cricket Leagues throughout the Winter months.
