For 20 years I employed professional photographers for marketing photoshoots and so, I know the best and so when, it came to my own family photography, my number one choice is Douglas Fry. There is truly no one better than Douglas for putting you at ease and creating perfect, candid shots. He is a total professional, very friendly (and funny) and the quality of the photography is superb. I could not recommend him more highly. The level of service from the first call through to the photographic shoot and the amazingly beautiful photographs to share and treasure afterwards are, simply the best.

Douglas was our wedding photographer and we genuinely couldn't have found someone better. We love every one of the pictures he presented to us and there are a lot! He was superb throughout and frankly barely noticeable by his presence. He has truly captured the essence of the whole day from the arrival of guests, to the wedding service itself, to the reception, the dinner and of course post dinner. We asked Douglas Fry to take some photos of our family during lockdown, while our kids were at home and our son was back from University. Doug managed to put everyone at ease and the whole shoot was great fun. He is very professional and the photos were processed very fast and with incredible efficiency. From the first approach via phone, I already knew, this part was going to be the best of our wedding and it was indeed! Douglas Fry was recommended to us by our venue: Stationer's Hall as someone who had been there before, and produced great photos. He wasn't the only one on their recommended list, but after checking out his website, I really liked the style of his photography: natural/reportage and no-flash. Sometimes photographs can look washed out with a flash, and that's not the look we wanted.
He will include the formal line-up photographs - and any other photographs/groupings you want. We asked him to capture our day. He certainly did that.
