The house was originally a farmhouse dating back some 300 years and once owned all the land around it. Nowadays, Abergavenny has thrived and we are practically in the centre of town! The main shopping area, with great pubs and restaurants is a mere ten minutes walk away. There are 6 letting rooms, all of which are equipped with hot drink facilities, flat screen colour televisions and washbasins.
Half the rooms also have private bathrooms. For breakfast, there is always a choice of cereals and fruit from the buffet whilst your hot cooked breakfast is prepared to order - using mostly locally sourced, Fairtrade products. Packed lunches are available on request and we are happy to fill your flask with tea or coffee.

ROAD: The town benefits from an excellent transport infrastructure with major road links to the M4 which puts it some 2.5 - 3 hours from London. From the roundabout (Hardwick) follow the signs for the town centre (A40 - Monmouth Road). Continue past the bus station/tourist information centre (Renault Garage on your left) all the way into the town.
