Services
Midlands Psychology is a Social Enterprise, offering tried and tested mental health and support services which are values-based and benefit from a strong focus on local services and partnerships with service users. Through the social enterprise model, we are able to take an efficient, cost effective and flexible approach to delivering services, whilst retaining the values and principles of providing a public service.
We deliver tailor-made Assessments & Therapies plus Training, Consultation & Support to others. Because every person is an individual and no two problems or situations are exactly alike, we understand that assessment and therapeutic work will vary according to need. At Midlands Psychology we have the skills to ensure this.
We place social issues and community participation at the centre of the way we understand and promote psychological well-being. We are a not-for-profit Social Enterprise, and work as part of the family of local providers to improve the psychological health and emotional well-being of those with whom we work.
Autism is known as a spectrum condition, which means that it affects each person differently. The 'spectrum' of autism refers to the breadth of difference in how autism presents itself across the population, from people of low to high intelligence and from those who may be affected only a little by their autism to those who may be very much affected.
We provide a full range of assessments, interventions and follow-on support services to children and their families. We also provide training programmes to children, parents and professionals who support them. All assessments meet NICE standards.

Staff are fully qualified and registered in the use of the Diagnostic Schedule of Social and Communication Disorders (DISCO), the Autism Diagnostic Schedule - Revised (ADI-R) and the ADOS (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule), which constitute the gold standard for autism assessment.Services are offered in the community in a range of locations within easy access of the families we see.
