Longmynd MOT and Car Servicing Centre is set in Shropshire, specifically the picturesque town of Church Stretton. It is an independently family-owned station first established in 1968 by Bill Reynolds. The business first began with a small car workshop and two petrol pumps in the small village of Wall Under Heywood, Shropshire.
By law, all vehicles over 3 years old are required to undertake an annual MOT (Ministry of Transport) test. This provides a thorough inspection of the safety of the vehicle, as well as roadworthiness aspects and exhaust emissions required under UK law. Longmynd Service Station offers Class 1, 2, 4, 5 and Class 7 MOT tests.
Here in Church Stretton, just South of Shrewsbury we are able to offer an alternative to visiting your main dealer for car servicing by following their exact servicing schedules - however, we often find that normal manufacturers servicing schedules are not comprehensive enough to meet the needs of most modern vehicles.
As one of the largest garages in South Shropshire, we have the ability to provide the motorist with tyres for most makes and models of vehicles. We carry a substantial stock of tyres in house but are able to have tyres delivered on the same day they have been ordered. For cheap tyres in Shropshire give us a try.

I'd like to thank the lads working here and Harry in particular for helping me today. I'm a stranger to the area and was travelling through the area on my way to Ludlow. A tyre pressure warning caused me to stop at the garage and Harry stopped what he was working on and checked my tyre pressures to find they were all OK. I thanked him and offered payment which he refused saying he hadn't done anything. His kindly act certainly gave me peace of mind and I'm very grateful.

First time using Longmynd Service Station to get a tyre changed.The service there is friendly and efficient. Booked online. This was followed up with a call from them shortly after to confirm a time (same day booking). They were ready when I got there, and I was back on the road 15-20 minutes later. Great price, too! Couldn't ask for more. Highly recommended.

A superb result in fitting a thermostat and housing to my Mercedes C Class. The job must have been a pain in the neck as there's so much plumbing to remove before you can get at the housing. The car is now running better than ever now it's running at the right temp.

These mechanics are Top Notch, i have taken 4 motorcycles into mot and they have found every fault or problem, told me the problem and talked me through the repair so I could do it myself.
The service and staff and resources are excellent for motorcycles and cars alike, your classic car/pride and joy is well respected and looked after under their care I highly reccomend longmynd service station for all your mechanical needs.

On Tuesday my wife thought she had a slow puncture as the warning light came up on the dash of her Audi. On the way to work she popped in and asked if someone could look at it.
It turned out to be a broken suspension spring and was advised not to drive it as it was dangerous.
Don't worry said the guys leave it with us and pop back later.
What service. Absolutely brilliant. Cannot thank Simon and all the staff for their utter dedication, professionalism and service.
I have always been a loyal customer of Longmynd Service Station and this is why I shall remain loyal.
