Brilliant Hotel
This is a fabulous hotel to stay
It has been renovated to a very high standard and so many nice touches
We stayed in room 3 which was very spacious and very comfortable
There was a stay station unit outside our door with clean cups, biscuits etc to replenish
In lounge an honesty bar with bottle beers etc and also bars of chocolate
Breakfast was really lovely, with so much choice and freshly cooked to your requests
The owners have thought of everything to make our stay very comfortable
Thank you for looking after us

We loved staying at hotel katherine. The quarry tiles in the hall are a lovely genuine feature of the grand Victorian house. There are nice touches like usb charge points in the room. Room 8 has a partial view of the sea , which is great. It also has a large shower room with a very good shower. The breakfast was cooked to order and the owners made us feel cared for and offered helpful advice as to what to do in the area. There is free parking in the road. I would definitely recommend hotel Katherine.

We have stayed in lots of UK hotels over the years. Different sizes and types. Of them all this is our favourite place. Our first time here for a weekend away without the kids and we couldn't have been looked after any better.
The honesty bar was great and well stocked and the service station on the first floor is a brilliant idea to help yourself to anything you might have run out of out of hours.
We would love to come back.

The room was clean and a very good size for the price. The whole place looks recently decorated. Having had a big meal the night before we stuck to the continental breakfast, which included an excellent range of fresh fruit. Staff were friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for south beach. The only reason for not five stars is I think that the mattress in room 2 is ready for replacing, the side near the door sags to one side so I was rolling over a bit in the night (but I have sometimes had worse beds at much higher prices than this!). The facilities are good: tea/coffee, iron and board

Stayed at Hotel Katherine for one night and had a very pleasant stay. Our room was bright and spacious with a decent view across to the sea. The room was spotlessly clean with adequate tea/coffee facilities. The bed was very comfy and had a good night sleep. Breakfast was lovely and really like the idea of the honesty bar. The hosts Darren and Jane were both very friendly and welcoming and took the time to chat to me and my partner. We would definitely stay again. Highly recommend.

This was a first class hotel for the price. The rooms were large and very clean with an on suite. The reception staff and staff were very helpful and nothing was to much trouble. Breakfast was as you want light and plentiful. Just across the road there is a lovely park connecting to the beach where you can take a 15 minute walk to town. Would recommend a stay. Good luck.

Located about 30mins walk from Lowestoft town centre. Very comfortable in the lounge & dining areas. Bedroom was nice, comfortable bed as well, although the chairs were lacking in seat cushioning. Bathroom had an adequately sized shower/bath with easily operated taps giving steady & controlled Hot/Cold water. Hot & Cold Breakfasts were very nice - plentiful amounts of yogurt and fruit. Filter coffee & some alternative tea options available as well. Very enjoyable stay and would recommend to anybody.

Beautifully renovated B&B, leagues above the Best Western Hatfield Hotel. Hosts are amazing and the room I stayed in had everything I needed. The bed was extremely comfy and slept like a log. The room had been well insulated unlike a lot of the other B&Bs and hotels in Lowestoft which made my sleep and overall experience ever so better. Definitely recommend staying here. A perfect template for what a B&B should be and certainly a B&B that the local community should also get behind.
