Serving only the finest and freshest of local produce with a focus on the the best available ingredients from the sea, the land and the farm, The Galley has gained a first class reputation for delivering an outstanding selection of varied dishes to suit all tastes and budgets. In addition to our standard menu we also offer a selection of daily specials which are determined by the availability of local market produce.

We also offer a special lunchtime menu and and on Monday's we offer a dedicated pensioners menu which changes on a weekly basis. Due to the popularity of our restaurant we strongly advise advanced booking in order to avoid disappointment. There were so many great choices we struggled to choose starters eventually opting for a variety to share.

Seafood lovers are guaranteed only the freshest of locally landed fish and shell fish, here at The Galley we work closely with local processors and trawlers who ensure only the freshest produce is supplied on a daily basis. We had an excellent high tea tonight at The Galley, it is great to see high teas back on the go. Brilliant traditional home cooking with something for everyone. scones, pancakes and fancies were great. Absolutely stuffed! Well worth the money! highly recommend high tea at The Galley. Staff were friendly, accommodating and service was spot on.

It was excellent. I am gluten free and the choice is often very limited but here there was a lot I could eat and they are very obliging, if you want gluten free pasta etc. Staff very helpful, food delicious, portions generous.

Absolutely delicious. Lovely warm welcoming restaurant with lovely views of the harbour. Had the seafood sharing platter and special seafood linguine for main. Was loads of food and if I could have fitted a dessert in, I bet it would have been delicious. Lush staff also! Very much recommend this little gem.

Superb service and delicious food at reasonable prices. Kitchen was only open till 7 and best to book as latest table we could get was 5.45. It was really warm inside so be good if the venue can throw open some windows and get a breeze coming through. Will definitely visit again as food was top quality and staff great.

Excellent little restaurant the basic 'shed like' building belies the quality of the food and friendliness of the staff. Wonderful cheesecakes. Busy award winning marina just outside for the boat lovers amongst us.

Had a meal here last night. The food was delicious. Mussels and Cullen Skink were both amazing, as was the Seabass and the chicken and scampi. Would have loved to try the creme brulee but had no room! Will just have to go back! Staff were very welcoming and friendly and the service was brilliant. Would highly recommend eating here. View is pretty spectacular too.

Great little place with views of the harbour. The staff were lovely and the food came very quickly. I had the haddock and chips and I can safely say that they're the best chunky chips I've had in years. I would definitely go back and try some of the other things on the menu
