The Government's "Help to Buy Scheme" is designed to help both first-time buyers and existing homeowners buy new-build properties which might otherwise be out of their reach which benefits many people. The scheme is designed for everyone - as long as you fit the required criteria for being able to obtain a mortgage then you are eligible for the scheme.

Used to buy a house and sell our old one, and I have nothing but thanks and praise for Lindsey and the team. Having some knowledge and experience of other solicitors dealing with conveyancing, this group was a breathe of fresh air. Made the whole process so much easier. After having some terrible dealings with solicitors and estate agents, I can say that I would highly recommend the conveyancing services at Goddard Dunbar. Specifically the service that I have received from Danielle Heath. She deals with emails and requests in an extremely efficient and timely manner and just gets things done. I have used local solicitors before and they can be tedious and tiresome to deal with alongside lack of communication and tardiness. You won’t get this with Danielle. I really appreciate all of her help. She’s a credit to the firm.

Inexplicably received a threatening letter 5 months after our house move completed, stating that our search fees were outstanding.
The completion letter that was signed for in July 2018 included the search fees and we are now being chased for additional funds.
Goddard Dunbar have verbally admitted their mistake but still are demanding the funds to be paid within 14 days. They have demonstrated incompetence and clear lack of transparency.
