We are an independent family business, set up by husband and wife team, Chris and Helen. We have been hand making chocolates in our chocolate kitchen beneath the shop in Nottingham since 2004. Our goal is to produce the finest possible chocolates. To do this we use the very best ingredients and combine them by hand to create small batches of beautiful fresh chocolates.

More than just a chocolate shop, Chocolate Utopia also has a lounge where you can enjoy our exceptional hot chocolate or our fresh locally ground coffee. All our hot drinks are served with a complimentary chocolate of your choice, making this the perfect way to relax and sample our chocolate.
Hot chocolates are our speciality, we use a generous amount of our high quality chocolate blended with steamed milk, topped with cream and then dusted with chocolate sprinkles.We recommend our house hot chocolate, a 65% dark chocolate blend or for a sweeter palate we also offer a milk hot chocolate, or a super sweet white hot chocolate.

Our presentation boxes are used for our Mail Orders, as the chocolates are laid out flat, and the boxes are more robust. Chocolates will be sent out by first class post following receipt of payment or on the date you specify. All our chocolates are sent by first class post. We cannot accept responsibility for damage in the post, nor for late delivery or non arrival caused by factors over which we have no control.

I went to chocolate Utopia today got a bag of different chocolates and had a milk hot chocolate to go, it was so delightfully delicious and creamy and I got to choose a free chocolate to have with my hot chocolate! I chose cappuccino chocolate which was so so yummy. The Salted caramel chocolates are the best I've ever had I wish i picked up more of them. I'm saving the chocolates to have a couple each day as a treat because otherwise id eat them all in one go! I will definitely be back to chocolate Utopia next time I'm in Nottingham. The customer service is outstanding as well, all the staff are

The most luxurious, delicious and amazing chocolates I've ever had. And I've had all sorts, from everywhere around the world. Always get my Christmas chocolates from them, and it never fails to impress. It's a lovely family owned business, and they're all really lovely! I can say it's my favourite shop in Nottingham! ❤️

Best chocolate shop I have been too. I always make a point of visiting and buying a box every time I come from London to visit some friends. The service is great. The owner makes you feel so welcome and is so helpful.
The chocolates are outstanding. I always have to stop myself from finishing the box in a day. Really recommend them. The costs are fair. I have heard their hot chocolates are amazing but haven't got one yet.

Amazing little gem in Nottingham. The chocolate is probably the best i’ve had anywhere (and I’ve had A LOT of chocolate). The hot chocolate was great too i couldn’t stop myself from inhaling it. Also it was just the right temperature not too hot not too cold! Pictured is my attempt to take a picture of the hot chocolate before it was gone, but unfortunately I simply couldn’t resist.

This has been a happy place for me to visit for over 10 years. All staff are friendly and the chocolate be it within the liquid drinking form or as the original chunk is always to the highest standard. You also feel good for supporting a local business with good quality products made and sold on premises. I truly love this place. They offer not only the day to day chocolate but seasonal goods for all occasions such as Valentine’s Day / Christmas and weddings etc. Seating is limited so be prepared to either wait or have your delights to take away. Long live good chocolate and Independant business

This is a great place for chocoholics! It can get quite packed at lunchtime but is worth it for the hot chocolate which is made with real melted chocolate ! The coffee is also really good if you want a lower calorie option. I love being able to choose a free chocolate with your drink - I usually go for their cinammon chocolate. They sell boxes of chocolates, individual chocolate animals and shapes and in the summer there is usually icecream. A good place to pick up wedding favours, easter eggs and chocolate presents. They also hold special events and chocolate making evenings.

Chocolate Utopia is a great little chocolate shop. It does a good range of indivual chocolates that can be bought as part of a number of different sized gift boxes. They also do bars of chocolate and various novelty chocolates. The prices are very reasonable and the quality of the chocolate is very high. The shop has a few tables so you can stay for a drink, the hot chocolate is especially good and comes with a free chocolate. This place is well worth a visit and is a nice change from the standard alternatives and quite a bit cheaper too.
