I have been fortunate enough to have Phil testing my sight, offering advice and taking an interest in me as a customer for approximately 20 years.
As I no longer live and work in the area I have needed to find a new optician.
However I would like to thank Phil and his staff for being professional, helpful and efficient during my time as a customer.

Once again what a fantastic high level of service & professionalism from one the best ophthalmic opticians in Essex especially in these difficult Covid times. I had reason to get my Silhouette frames adjusted due to slight wear issues and Jonathan not only corrected then like new but as always with Duffield & Duffield there was no charge, it’s all part of their fantastic high level of service.

My first time back for years and still as I remember it.
A professional and friendly team where they take the time to deal with you as a person and not just a number. My appointment wasn't rushed, everything was explained throughout and a number of options presented at the end with no pressure to spend an additional large amount of money and then leave.
This is the reason that I avoid the chain stores.

I took my 4 year old on Saturday and was nervous - he wasn’t keen to visit the opticians and thought it could be chaos. Tracy was absolutely fantastic - we went straight in and she spoke to my son like a grown up, and had lots of good ideas to keep him amused! She was absolutely fantastic and I would highly recommend Duffield & Duffield.

I have nothing but positive feedback from my visit today. I was able to get an appointment for my 5 year old very quickly and all staff were very friendly and helpful. The optometrist was excellent with my children and involved them in everything he was doing; taking the time out to actually speak to them about general things like school and how their day had been. This sort of service is few and far between these days and health appointments aren't always the most enjoyable outings when you have children to occupy but thanks to Duffield & Duffield my experience was stress free.
