Our wonderful charter boats Our Gemma and Big Buoy are also available for private hire for Hen and Stag parties up to 10 passengers. Fishing is a fantastic way to get out on the water, whether you are experienced or a complete novice. You can share the boat or book it just for yourselves. Services
Our Boats depart from Yarmouth's beautiful and historical harbour. Black Rock Charters offer up to 2 hour cruises to the world famous Needles Lighthouse and Pinnacles. These trips are very popular and suitable for all ages. We can accommodate up to 10 passengers. Don't miss out on the experience of a lifetime seeing the Isle Of Wight's stunning coastline onboard our boats on the Solent.

Our booking office and tackle shop is located on The Quay, next to the Yarmouth Wightlink Ferry Terminal. You can purchase fishing equipment suitable for use both on the beach and for boat fishing from us.
Our Gemma is a 9.45m Mitchell 31 Mk2, purpose built fibreglass cabin cruiser. Currently licensed to carry 10 passengers and up to 60 miles off shore. It has gated access for easy step on/off and wheel chair access. Our Gemma is strong, reliable, sturdy and spacious, perfect for our boat trips come rain or shine.
Conditions are payment in advance is necessary to confirm all trips, full refund given if we have to cancel any fishing trips or Needles cruises. We do always try to re-book in the event a trip is canceled either by weather conditions or any other reason. We have taken every reasonable precaution to ensure that our web site is accessible to as many people as possible and we welcome your feedback if you feel that we could do better.

I’ll make this easy, If you are looking at fishing boat charter on the Isle of Wight. Look no further. The two boats with captains Lee & Steve worked really hard making sure we had the best day. The fishing spots were well fruitful with Tope, spotted Ray, Bream and Smooth hounds a plenty. Will book again for sure. Excellent company!!

We took a 1.5 hour Cruise to the Needles, it was perfect - A lot of respect for Rob he was calm and patient getting people on board and ensuring everyone was happy. Also made sure everyone knew what to do in case of emergencies. We even managed to see DOLPHINS just past the needles it was a fabulous sight and a rare one! Rob even prolonged our trip to follow them! 10/10
